CLIMBER (HE/HIM)
Professional climber Ethan Pringle reclines casually on a boulder cloaked in fog with bare feet, dusty pants, and a smile.
Raised in San Francisco’s Mission District by outdoor‑obsessed parents, Ethan Pringle discovered climbing at Mission Cliffs at age eight, where the sport clicked in a way nothing else had. What turned him into a lifelong climber was the deep focus and total commitment demanded by competition and hard routes—an intensity he’s pursued around the world for the past 30 years. A winner of international competitions and a top-level performer across bouldering, sport, and trad, Ethan is widely regarded as one of the most well‑rounded climbers in the world, still drawn to the hardest and most striking lines.
