Benny Lieb is a dedicated alpine climber, expedition leader, and mountain guide living in Alaska. He began climbing and guiding full time in 2016 after radically redesigning his life, leaving a product design background for a life in the mountains. He has led over 40 expeditions to summits on six continents with a particular focus on remote Alaskan and Himalayan alpinism, high altitude guiding, and winter ice climbing. With a background in design, Benny works with the Mountain Hardwear team on product development through rigorous field-testing efforts and product ideation.
