Women's StretchDown™ RS Hooded Jacket is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from If only the hood were different Haven't taken this out into the field yet, but around town it is warm, breathable, and a nice if bold color. Less red and more salmon than the picture shows. Cute color. I got this to replace my Columbia titanium compactor jacket and really do prefer the RS stretch down. The stretchdown is a nice touch if you, too, have bigger muscular shoulders, the longer sleeves are also really nice and comfortable. Sizing is a bit bigger than I'd normally go for in a medium, but perfect for layering which is what I want it for. My one complaint is that the hood does not adjust which really isn't a huge change, but would make a world of difference in its functionality. My one disappointment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Kinda wimpy... I'm a longtime fan of the quality and style of Mountain Hardwear products. That being said, try as I might, I can't inflate this coat to match the one in the picture. I haven't put it to the chill test yet, so maybe function will trump form in the end. I'd hoped for some kind of miracle hybrid of the Ghost Whisperer, but beefier. As far as fit: the length is perfect, but the width is more than one needs under a puffy down coat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Be gentle with the things you love.... I LOVE this jacket! I've been outside in snow, rain, and temps ranging from 25-55 degrees in the month that I've been wearing this. It has kept me warm and dry, isn't too bulky, and the pockets are soft and warm when I've forgotten gloves! I'm a consistent 0/XXS-XS. Based on the size guide, I knew the XS would not be fitted, so it's what I was expecting. It's loose for my petite frame and the sleeves are just a little long. But, it's exactly what I wanted and works well over a fleece or sweater. I thought I'd finally found the perfect down jacket, until I realized how delicate it is. While playing in the woods with my dog, I ended up with a hole in my jacket after he jumped up on me. I realize that's my fault, but I have an older Mountain Hardware jacket that has proven to be just that = hard-ware. I expect more from a jacket at this price and from this brand and I'm surprised by how little it took for it to now have a hole. Probably not a jacket you'd want to wear near tree branches or climbing over large boulders where it could get scuffed or snagged, but otherwise it's lovely! Maybe more city than mountain worthy though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Excellent This jacket is the bees knees. Super warm, super light and extremely packable. I usually wear a medium in MHW jackets to give room for layering underneath but went with a small in this one since I wanted it for my in-town jacket and it fits perfect. I am seriously considering purchasing another one as my designated backcountry jacket in a different color.
