Women's StretchDown™ HD Hooded Jacket is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fitting, stylish and functional I can’t say enough good things about this jacket. I commute to downtown Chicago for work and Chicago weather is very unpredictable. It can have a 20 degree change in the matter of hours. I bought his jacket because it is light weight, has deep pockets, water and wind resistant. It has exceeded all my expectations and iso e of the jackets I wear very often (esp I have it in both the green and black). I’m 135 and 5’3. A medium fits perfectly with lots of room to wear a bulky sweater underneath if need be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Jacket I like this jacket so much I had to buy it in 2 colors. I don’t normally like fitted jackets but this is so great-looking, comfortable, and flattering on, I couldn’t resist. I use it like a hoodie but it looks much nicer. Unfortunately, the arms are indeed long. I’ll have to get them shortened.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good jacket I got this one hoping it would be as great as the mens stretch down but it’s not as warm. The sleeves are not down so it’s not as cozy or as lightweight as the men’s jacket. The fit is very feminine and it’s really flattering. I’d try it on first because my mom and I both got the small and mine is noticeably smaller.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great-looking jacket - not as warm as I had hoped Love the color and fit of this jacket. I somehow thought it was going to be warmer, though. I am keeping it (even though I don't need another with this warmth level) because I love the color and the flattering cut.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sacrificing Warmth for Beauty It took months to find the exact jacket I wanted, I was specifically looking for the V pattern of the baffles, finding this is difficult let alone finding this with a hood. I didn't want to spend this much but for winter wear, you get what you pay for. I am 5'6", 135lb, 36"/29"/41" I ordered a size Medium, I wanted it to keep my silhouette but not be too tight. The medium fit absolutely perfectly even with my large hips, I still have room everywhere and it hugs my body beautifully. I can still fit a sweatshirt and long sleeve tee underneath, I honestly couldn't have asked for a more perfect fitting jacket. The sleeves come past my wrists into my mid hand, the length covers almost half my large "trunk", it fits like a dream and it's very comfortable. Features, there are 2 zippered pockets on the exterior, large enough to fit my entire hand in, very roomy. Inside there are 2 slip pockets with elastic top, they are equally huge 8 1/2" long x 6 1/2" wide, both sides. Neck zips up fully to cover chin and zipper has a garage. Hood is incredibly roomy, can fit over my very long hair in a bun and does not pull or cause the jacket to ride up. However, there are no pull strings to keep it in place, this is a problem in windy conditions. Bottom of jacket has adjustable elastic to keep drafts out. The core is filled with 90% duck down and 10% duck feathers, it's not bulky whatsoever, this jacket is incredibly lightweight and not fluffy or bulky, it lays nicely and does NOT shed in any way shape or form. It moves with you and is not restricting in any capacity, comfortable in every way. The sleeves feel like neoprene (100% polyester) they do not have any stretch to them but it is a very different feeling fabric then the core, slightly rubber texture but obviously they are not. The biggest issue are the sleeves and the matching fabric that covers half your back, I've worn this many times now, 40°F, 15°F temp and 20°F , I do not find the sleeves especially keep my arms warm at all. While the core does stay warm at 40° at even 30 your pushing it, I don't find it to be a very warm jacket. I've wanted it to keep me warm so badly, I've been telling myself one more try but it just doesn't keep me warm at all. I feel the sleeves are the biggest contributor to this issue and no matter how much I want to keep me warm, for the price tag, I just can't justify keeping it. . It feels great on but I expect to be warm and toasty at 40 and I'm just not. I think this one is sadly goingback, what a disappointment, they really did everything else right here but what good is a great looking jacket that leaves you cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Design Great quality, nice stretchy material, love the green fade color. I really appreciate how Mt hard wear uses olive green, dark blue, grey, not all girls like to wear pink and purple. For 5ft 118lb... XS fits perfect. Unique design not ordinary, plus warmth. Well done.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice, warm jacket- although shape is weird This jacket is very warm and functional. I can actually layer it UNDER any number of my vests to make it even warmer without looking "stuffed". I even layer it under a ski jacket out on the slopes on those negative-degree Montana days. The downside to this jacket is the shape. The picture makes it look as though it's fitted beautifully. I'm 125 lbs, 5'7" with a c-cup and (without getting too specific) the point in which it's supposed to come in and accentuate the waist-line, almost hits in the lower part of my chest. So I'm constantly tugging it down as to not look like its a size too small (which it's not). So if you have a longer torso and/or larger chest- this jacket might not be your best bet. For a shorter torso, smaller chested person- go for it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love this jacket! (Even though the sleeves were super long!) I was looking for a jacket that was casual but still stylin' enough for my Sorel boots and Anthro tops and this jacket fits the bill! It's warm enough to keep you comfortable outside (at around 40-55 degrees), but not so heavy that you get hot the moment you go inside somewhere. The workmanship is excellent and it feels like a high quality jacket that will last for years. One thing. The sleeves were SUPER long. But this brand always has ridiculously long sleeves- I don't who they're making these clothes for. Not average sizes- that's for sure! BUT... The way the sleeves are made on this particular jacket, they are easy to hem. Only cost me 12 bucks. So if you are of average height, expect to have to get the sleeves hemmed, but know that you can (on a lot of coats and jackets you can't). Size wise, I normally wear a 12-14 and the large fits great. Has some wiggle room, which I prefer, especially since I'll be wearing sweaters under it. If you prefer a snug, very fitted look, you may want to size down. (Note: The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the sleeve length. Otherwise it's a 5-star jacket.)
