Women's Mirada™ Convertible Pant is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs small My other MHW pants are all size 8 and have a True Fit. These pants seem to run small. The material is stiffer than expected. I guess I now have to lose some weight to make this a comfortable hiking pants ;) All and all, I would totally recommend it since the pants is of good quality and the fitting (beside size) is great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fit for a man I am a Botanist and work in the field everyday of the summer. I have loved Mountain Hardwears Canyon and Mesa pants, as they fit me perfectly. The Mirada is cut for a man, with a wide waist and straight hips. I'm not an very hippy person, but I am feminine, and these pants grab my hips and inner thighs. I typically wear as 4 or 6 in Mountain Hardwear pants, but had to go up to an 8 in this pant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent pants I have been looking for convertible pants that don't bind at the thigh (and I don't have large thighs) for months and these fit the bill! I haven't had the opportunity to wear them out on the trail yet but after trying them on several different times, I feel confident that these will be just what I needed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice quality but tight through hips. I wouldn't wear them to scramble. I like these pants. The material is comfortable and they are well crafted. I hiked a 7 mile, mountain trail in them and they were comfortable. The issue I had with them is that they are tight through the hips so they made it a little difficult to lift my legs when we did a couple of boulder scrambles. I am pretty typical of the female form and I have hips and a butt. I think these pants could be a tad bit more generous in this area to be a truly great hiking pant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My go-to for backpacking I bought the Mirada convertible for a 10-day backpacking trip on the John Muir Trail this past August. I wore them (as shorts, except for one day) every single day, rinsing them out mid-way through the trip. They were super comfortable, and seemed to repel every bit of dirt and mud the trail could throw at them. The shorts are a nice length for tall gals; not too short. The cargo pocket is handy and well-placed. I know some people find the zipper around the legs on convertibles uncomfortable but I did not notice it. I wore them as long pants this past weekend on a two-night backpacking trip. Again, they held up so well, and repelled everything. The Mirada are now my go-to pants for any hiking or backpacking trip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice pant; wears well This is a nice pant: It wears well, is of good quality, and is functional. The only problem I had was that I ordered two pairs in different colors, exact same size. I had to return one of the pants because it was at least 1/2 size smaller than the other. Again, same size, same style, different color, but different fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants I love these pants! They are comfortable and a great weight of fabric. I also like that they are a 3 in 1. They are pants and then have a button to roll them up a bit to make capris and then of course zip the legs off to make shorts. Perfect for any adventure. These do fit slight small, but if you get the next size up they will fit perfectly. I usually wear a size 4, but it was a bit too tight in the hips and thighs. The size 6 fit better for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from thin people only These pants seemed like they were great quality and I would've really gotten lots of use out of them, however the zippers across the thighs were very snug. I'm 5' 9" and 150 lbs, ordered my usual size (8), and they fit everywhere else but the legs. So unfortunately, if you have muscular legs, these are not the pants for you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great hiking pant but tight fit I have hiked in these pants quite often and they are durable. The zip-off legs are great. My only problem with these pants is that they are fairly tight around the hips and thighs which makes the pockets pretty much useless. In all other pants I am a size 4, but I should have purchased a size 6 in these.
