Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best sleeping bag yet Took this sleeping bag out for the May long weekend for three days out in the Rockies and I was toasty warm all night - for all three nights! Out of my 10 friends camping, I was the only one who claimed to have stayed warm all night. This was my first mummy bag and I have to say I really enjoyed the fit. Would definitely recommend - great quality and compacts very small! 10/10 (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy Cozy I love this bag. Kept me super warm. Haven’t tested it to it’s 15 degree rating but have confidence it will do the job. Packs down small and tight when you need it to. Smooth and easy zipper plus I also noticed if it gets a little water on it it repels it well and wipes off dry. That’s big points for me. I am 5’4 125 lbs and got the regular size and it was perfect. I love it so much I’ve gotten it out in the evening watching tv when I’m wishing I was in my tent. Which I may or may not have set up as well! ;D

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this bag I purchased the long women’s bag, and my boyfriend has the ratio 15 regular. I’ve taken it backpacking several times now in three seasons in high elevation mountains, down to the 20s. I did have to add a liner on the coldest days, but honestly, I’ve never been cold in this bag once I warmed up! I am 6ft for reference, and the long fits me really well, with a little extra room (which I prefer for comfort, but may not keep you as warm). Build quality is excellent. Zippers, baffling, material are all very nice. The zipper guard (textured material on side of zipper to keep it from snagging) is a nice touch. I like that it can be pulled tight around my face - on a chilly night this is a game changer! Packs down very small and light as it should for down. I’d recommend this bag to anyone who wants a three season bag that won’t break the bank, but is very high quality and will clearly last a long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Minor issues Not sure if it's the operator or product but when zipped up all the way, seems to cover (awkwardly) too much of my face, uncomfortable. I slip and slide around at the slightest incline/slop. And zipper sticks a lot. Not much leg room (width) But cozy and keeps me warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect bag The Heratio is my first backpacking sleeping bag and I think it'll be my last. This thing is truly a keeper. Not only is it compact but it is light in weight and provides more-than-enough warmth for even the colder winter nights in California. To top it all off, it is incredibly comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bag This bag had a great fit, and feel. Certainly keeps me warm. My partner and I both purchased new bags together and library that the ratio and heratio zip together!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kept me warm when everyone else was shivering I just completed the JMT in late season with snow, hail, rain, temps in the teens and high winds (Late Sept and early Oct). This bag was phenomenal. True, it lacks some things....such as a pocket or an easy zipper to open as it snags from time to time, but it is roomy and not a restricting tight mummy type bag. I love it for side sleeping. Once in 25 days, I was a bit cold and noticed the feathers had "sunk" to the underside so I turned it over and shook it up and then put it back and was warm again. My only wish is if the small which fits a 5foot 6 inch person were two inches longer, I would not have to carry the extra ounces for the larger bag, but in the end, I had lots of room to fully close the bag around me and my thick inflatable pillow. In my group of 7, I was the only one consistently not freezing and it was due, in large part, to this bag. I used it with a Klymit 4.4R factor light sleep pad which may have also helped. I wore wool socks with an extra down bootie on my feet and cuddle duds with a down vest and coat and gloves and stocking cap, so I was well decked but so were two other women and they were always cold. Wonderful product. Would definitely recommend. Lots of warmth for the feet. Got it at REI and they only stock women's right side zipper. Would love to have had a left zipper option, but....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super warm! I've only used this bag once, so I can't review on durability yet, but I am super happy with my purchase! I took this bag backpacking in Colorado and slept at a VERY windy and cold alpine lake at 11,300'. I was warm and toasty all night long! I also bought a compression sack at REI, and the bag is super easy to compress into a ball smaller than a soccer ball.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with this bag This is my first sleeping bag purchase and I am very happy with it. It's super warm and packs up to the perfect small size for backpacking. I haven't had any issues with it so far and plan to use it for many years to come. I definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and Cozy! Tried this baby out for the first time in a leaky tent in the rain (that's what happens when you go to silly posh campsites and get squished into other people's tents ... but I digress), and I was THOROUGHLY impressed! I woke up super warm and dry, even though the outside of the bag was soaked! In its first use, this bag exceeded my expectations. Well done!
