Reviews

Women's Ghost Whisperer™ Down Jacket is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 90.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent jacket I LOVE this jacket. It is warm and cosy, but breathable, so not stiflingly hot. It really cuts the wind too. Highly recommend it, both for looks and function.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So lightweight! Bought it to replace a similar jacket from another brand. Half the weight but just as warm! Fits larger than the other jacket in the same size (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LOVE the ghost whisperer but the green color is not what I was expecting I've had a ghost whisperer that I wear daily (in my house! - I am always cold) for maybe the last 5 years. I decided to buy a second to wear out. The warmth of the new one is INCREDIBLE, the fit is good (the neck may be slightly higher? I prefer the lower neck of my old one). However I'll be returning this one because I'm not a fan of the green color. On the website it looks super neutral, olive or camo green, dark-ish. In real life it's a somewhat lighter green, very shiny, and it just won't be as versatile color-wise as I hoped. FYI for sizing, 5'8 120ish#, XS fits great. Would love if you'd make this in other neutral colors and possibly without so much shine?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not durable I reallllly wanted to love this jacket. It fits me well, works as a great mid-layer/is fairly warm, and is a beautiful jacket. Unfortunately, after only 3 months of wear, I already have little tears everywhere. Considering I've only been on a couple trips and mainly wear it during my commute, I don't feel this should be happening so quickly. Perhaps some durability is compromised in order for the jacket to be so light. Regardless, I've gotten much more wear out of similar jackets from other brands in the past. I'm going to try to warranty it:/

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Questioning Quality! I've been a long-time Patagonia customer, but my sister raved about this jacket and I gave it a try. Less than 2 months after purchase, and less than a dozen wears, and the stitching started to come undone. I called and sent the jacket back for repair or replacement. I just got the email back telling me they would repair and send back to me in 6-8 weeks! That should put us in mid-May....Really? For a brand-new $300 jacket? I expect better quality, and better service when it doesn't quite measure up. Back to Patagonia for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome jacket!! I bought this jacket for my daughter. She loved it! The color: Sea Level, Dark River, is beautiful, the fit is great, and it is so light weight and warm. Unfortunately, this jacket had a bum zipper. It would hang-up when trying to unzip, then you would have to fight with it to get it to separate. I returned this one, but I'm sure she will probably reorder. Overall, supercool tech jacket, only negative is, that it is a bit pricey!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Made for wider shorter women I’m 5’10/125-130 pound and I was excited to try this jacket because I’m sick of forever having to wear a men’s small or extra small. I ordered a medium by reviews and online measurement guidence I and am unhappy in how large , wide and short this jacket is. I want to love it, it it’s just very unflattering if you are a taller thinner female. I can literally wear 4-6 layers underneath, which may be good for some people but I had intended that this be a fitted, warm, packable layer to throw in any time. It’s too short and doesn’t look flattering at all it looks like I’ve borrowed someone else’s jacket. I am hesitant to buy the small because it’s likely it will be shorter. Does MH make a tall line? Probably great up to about 5’7. I guess I have to get the men’s small again:( I’ll recommend because it will keep you warm but beware online shoppers, you need to try before you buy for size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Lightweight and Cozy This is a great winter baselayer or spring/fall jacket. I even wear it around the house because it's so cozy! Well worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great basic ultralight addition I am in the mountains a lot. This down jacket is the best new addition to my pack. Super warm despite its deceptively light weight profile. Teamed with a lightweight rainshell..I feel I am ready for any weather condition. And..love the colors. This is a great looking and great fitting jacket. Might need two..one for outdoor fun and one for evenings on the town. My outdoor gear gets pretty abused.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect NW Jacket It doesn't really matter where you live, however this jacket is perfect for the Winter NW temps. You can wear this coat from the house to the car, to the store, around town and never feel the need that you're overheating or underdressed
