Women's Dynama™ Skirt is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best hiking skirt ever! This was my absolute best gear purchase of 2017 - it changed my hiking game completely. Before, I had sweltered in the inglorious discomfort of pants and shorts while on the trail - well, suffer no longer, because the Dynama Skirt is the heroic, crazy functional solution to this misery. On a very long, hot, solo uphill hike to the last camp on the Berg Lake Trail in Mount Robson Provincial Park last June, this skirt was literally my best friend - thanks to it, I never overheated because it always allowed a nice cooling breeze around my legs. Also: - MOBILITY. You can use your whole stride length no problem wearing this skirt, there's no constriction of your gait whatsoever. Leap and cavort with ease! - The soft stretchy waistband is a girl's best friend. Not only is it gentle on the belly (it won't cut into your sensitive tummy after you have overindulged on a small mountain of spaghetti following your trek) but it doesn't chafe under a hip belt at all. This is huge - belts (required by some pants,) can be downright painful when combined with a hip belt that is supporting a heavy pack. This skirt (and the pants from the Dynama line,) are the solution. - Big, deep, useful pockets which can hold all of your pocket stuff. I can sit in my car with this skirt on WITH my cellphone in my pocket and thanks to the skirt's pocket depth my cellphone can't hurt me. I also feel very secure keeping stuff like my cellphone in my pockets with this skirt, because I know they can't randomly fall out because of the pocket not being deep enough. (They can fall out if the skirt goes upside down, mind you. No zippers.) Besides my cellphone, I also keep extra snacks and my wrist brace in my pockets no problem. - Pair it with leggings and an ultralight insulated skirt like the Trekkin and keeping warm enough on a three-season backcountry adventure is a breeze. I also like wearing gaiters with it if I'm cold to cut the wind off of my lower legs. - Ease of peeing! No, this isn't a joke. Going #1 with a skirt is way easier than pants - spend less time cowering behind bushes and trees. Also, it makes a pretty good privacy screen for when you are changing. - Stretchy, comfy material moves with you. - It's badass! I feel like a rock star when I'm wearing my Dynama Skirt... or like I'm channeling that awesome Scottish Highlander whom I hope that I was in a past life. (Don't ask me for comments on fashion, I'm an entirely functional gal.) About the only con I can think of is that if you happen to own lightly coloured cats, like I do, you should probably keep a lint roller or supply of packing tape on hand - the black Dynama Skirt especially attracts cat fuzz pretty well. I consider this con pretty rhetorical myself though; I wouldn't change this skirt for the world and I can't wait to buy another one (or two) next spring. I love it exactly that much! (I felt so sad owning just one of them because it meant having to wear pants and shorts again in between washes - ugh!) Don't hesitate to buy this skirt - snap it up quick, 'cus you'll love it! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this skirt! This is my 4th color in this style. It wears well for work, dress up with tights, or out at the beach. So comfortable. Everyday wear. Washes well. Keeps shape. Love this Skirt!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great skirt I love the dynama skirt. I wear mostly skirts and this one is great for working out or hiking, it dries fast, is comfortable, really cute, and it has big pockets. All in all a great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect hiking skirt I bought this skirt to hike the JMT this summer. It was comfortable, held its shape, and hid dirt well after two weeks on the trail. The front pockets are deep enough to hold a few items without worrying about them falling out. For me this included my phone, sun glasses, trail snacks, and occasional pieces of trash. The only reason for 4 stars is I found the drawstring to be an unnecessary add on--it makes sense on the pants, but I just saw no reason for its use on the skirt. Love that the dynama line has added this great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Skirt!! I first bought this skirt last spring and wasn't sure how I would like it since I don't typically wear shorts or skirts. This was love at first sight! I wear this all the time and ended up buying a 2nd one about a month ago. Great for wearing around the house, errands and to throw on over exercise pants after a workout. also a great travel piece - doesn't wrinkle; packs with a minimum amount of space and soooo comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yoga Skirt! I ordered this skirt for everyday comfort. I'm a teacher and this skirt is a cute, comfortable, and reasonably professional garment - with pockets! - that I can wear to school as well as for everyday about-town wear and hikes with the dog. It's perfect! My waist size is 30" and I ordered a Large for extra comfort, but a Medium would also have fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Hiking Skirt I bought this skirt in Gray a few years ago and loved it for hiking. Saw it was available in "Blurple" and just recently ordered it. Love the color and now have two choices when I hike. I've tried other skirts and skorts and have not found any as comfortable as this one, and love the fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love love love I bought all 3 colors! I love the pants and shorts in this dynama style so I felt confident the skirts would be winners as well. The cotton blend wide and flat waist band is comfortable, it has pockets, it's a great length for work or running errands. Flattering and slimming. I'm 5'6" and I wear a medium.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional and cute I bought this skirt in two colors for an upcoming transcontinental trip, and couldn't be happier. They pack down super small, fit perfectly, and are comfortable and versatile. I look forward to wearing them on many adventures!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great skirt This is a very comfortable, highly functional skirt. I've never hiked in a skirt until now and I'll never go back. There was some thread loss after the first wear which I was pretty sad to see, but despite that the skirt is rugged and holds up to rock scrambles, rain, dirt and heavy hiking and offers a feminine touch. Great deep pockets that are not constricting.
