Women's Barnsie™ Jacket is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Quality I purchased this to have something more versatile to wear for playing with the kids in the snow. I'm short (5' 3") so I find it hard sometimes to find things that don't make me look like one of the kids. The quality and feel of this is great - I felt too young in it though. I wanted something a little more flattering for my snow fights (call me silly) so I ended up returning it. If I hadn't had those needs it would have been perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Snow Sports Coat I am typically a size 12-14, but purchased the XL coat.. It's extra roomy, which is exactly what I was looking for. It's lightweight, but warm. The hood actually can pack away comfortably! I wear it for XC skiing, downhill skiing, and snowboarding; it has kept me dry and warm! Also love the pit zips for warmer days!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long sleeves I'm 5'3" and ordered a medium after reading several other reviews. The jacket generally fit with a little room that's good for layering. However the sleeves were really long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the jacket This jacket is semi fitted so it gives you some shape. It has many features like a powder skirt, warm lined hood and secure cuffs. It's a warm cozy jacket. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For the slopes, it's great! I really love this jacket for downhill skiing. I love the trim, shapely fit and great functionality. I am in my early 60's, 5'4", 140, and generally wear a lot of black and grays, but I bought the blue stripes in a medium. I love the blue! It's nice to be visible on a slope, or near the lifts. Unlike another reviewer, I don't feel that I look like I am trying to be a teenager. I saw someone in the white and silver stripes and that looked very sharp -- go for that if you want less of a statement. This jacket has an excellent design for active outdoor wear. I wore it on cold (close to 0 degrees Fahrenheit) as well as relatively warm ski days, in the Rockies as well as the Cascades. I was comfortable in both - just adjusted the number of layers. It is not made for wearing over bulking sweaters. I find all Mt. Hardware runs a little tight through the chest, but this medium is okay. I wear thin thermal layers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Velcro Ripping I bought this jacket at the beginning of the season and now at the end, the velcro at the base of zipper is coming off and has begun to fray. I was unimpressed by the quality of this particular coat.
