Women's AP Scrambler™ Pant is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy hiking pants I had originally ordered these for a gift and after trying them on, I fell in love! I had needed long hiking pants and these fit perfectly as well as had enough room for some leggings or long johns. Owning Mountain Hardwear shorts and loving them, I had a feeling these pants would be just as amazing and I was right! If you like your pants just right, maybe size down but like I said, the waist was a little big but not bad at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Adventure Pants These pants are great for outside adventures and for just hanging out. They fit nicely, so they're flattering and super comfy. The fabric is durable and can take the scuffs and scrapes that come with climbing or other activities. They have a great fit in the waist, the stretch in the sides mean they always stay put, but don't feel too tight. The only downside is the length. They are definitely designed for shorter inseams. They can sometimes feel too tight around the ankle (or above it where they sit). Still, would recommend. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tight in leg, heavy material Wanted pair of cuffed/scrunched ankle pants but sadly these did not work. I ordered based on the size guide, but the leg was too tight so they weren't functional, ie not good for hiking or working outside. If you have any muscle whatsoever, these will likely run small. Can't go a size up as there is no adjustments to the waist or belt loops. Material was also much heavier than expected. Would be great as heavy-duty work pants, not so great for working outside/hiking in hot and humid midwest summers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pants but ride up I got these pants in a size above what I usually get because I have longer legs, but I still found that they rode up and were annoying to always pull back down. Love your product! But these would likely benefit from a 'longer' line. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Petite Joggers = Great for Short Inseams! Was looking for hiking pants that would fit my short (27 inch inseam) legs for summer hiking. Wanted comfort, freedom of movement, protection from sun and insects. Ideally in a slightly stylish pant? Maybe? So, the short inseam and jogger style of these pants is great for short legs! Really REALLY thrilling to buy technical pants without having to take them to be altered/shortened! Thank you, MH. I would buy more in this length. Agree with others reviews, though: YES these pants could benefit from belt loops, or some other velcro-tab option to customize waist fit. I appreciate the elastic for comfort, but the pants do fall down a bit during rock scrambling. In general, I found the waistband comfortable and true-to-generous for a size 8. (Fine for me: I am basically a rectangle body with no waist, lol.) The stretch in the fabric was okay. I expected more stretch, tbh. The canvas blend is not especially breathable, but it is very durable - didn't catch on the thorns I brushed by several times during hike. That's a big plus. I LOVE the deep front pockets, secure zip back pockets, and the snap thigh pocket: great for cell phone, folded-up map, or energy bar. Handy! Summary: almost perfect hiking pants for petite inseams. Some kind of waist band fine-tuning via Velcro tabs or button tabs or small cinch buckles would be really helpful. GREAT length for short legs, GREAT functional pockets, very durable fabric. I like all the earth-tone color choices, too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The waist needs some help The rise is just a bit too low and cuts across that hip spot that give you 'muffin top' even with the proper fit. Also the thigh is too tight but the waist is correct size and I have avg / slightly athletic thighs. Sad because I bought these and only wore them once before realizing they would not work, so I feel like I wasted my $$. That said the style looks awesome in the leg. Just wish they fit better. Maybe if you don't have any curves they would fit? If I bend over I don't have a whole lot of protection against plumbers butt :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Belt Loops would give them the 5th star I bought these pants to walk my dogs in the summer mosquito season so I don't have to drench myself in deet. I almost love them. If the waist fit better I would love them. They NEED belt loops. I would consider another pair if they had them. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Scramble Pant I wish i could have kept these pants! They were the perfect length and the fit along my legs was great, but the waist band was too large and since it is elastic there was no way of making it fit better. Overall it seemed like heavy duty material and i would definitely have used them if the waist fit better. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite pants These are my favorite hiking pants. I own them in two colors. Really sturdy and durable with great functional trail ability. I love all the pockets. They are nice enough that I wore them around on a month trip to Europe through muesums and did not feel under dressed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needs Tweaking! I like the material of these pants so I really wanted to keep them but: The waist is elastic, except there is very little give to it, so it doesn't improve the fit. I would wear a belt to tighten the waist a little for me but there are no belt loops. The pants were only available in 28 length and I need a 30. I find the rise or waist a bit low (I am 57), not unwearable but definitely an inch or two lower than ideal.
