Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT ALL AROUND SLEEPING BAG First, I loved the great staff at Mountain Hardwear store, they were informative and patient with my list of questions. I mostly car camp but will do backpacking trips from time to time and was looking for an "DO IT ALL" sleeping bag and was recommended the Ratio 15. This sleeping bag it SUPER comfortable and SUPER warm, I run hot as it is but on chilly nights, it kept me toasty and from waking up. It's light enough to compress and toss in my hiking backpack and I don't even notice. Good looking bag, great quality build, great service and great price. You get what you pay for and this sleeping bag is worth every penny spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Basic classic Just what you'd expect in a sleeping bag. Seems warm enough for 15f. Generous with the down. I haven't tested in very cold or wet conditions but already is confidence inspiring in summer conditions. Has standard mummy bag features well executed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ratio 15 Long very comfortable and plenty warm in 40 degree evenings in Tetons. very light and stuffable (10L sea to summit waterproof compression worked well). I'm 6ft tall and use a sea to summit blow up pillow, which fit perfectly and stayed in mummy hood. Only concern is exterior fabric is not very durable - snagged it on a rock pretty lightly and ripped a 2 inch hole in it (duct tape has many uses).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really solid bag I really like this bag. It packs up VERY small, and the weight seems reasonable. I have use daily it down to about 25 degrees and no problem at all, wasn't even close to cold, and certainly no drafts/cold spots. I don't know why, but turning over in it seems to be easier than in my previous bags. Overall, quite good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb Quality at an Excellent Price Very comfortable, very light, very warm. It feels like you are taking your bed into the backcountry with you. Absolutely love this bag. Packs down pretty small and is very light. The warmth factor is also fantastic, it heats up in about two seconds once slipping into it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase I bought this for a trip on the Appalachian Trail in September in Vermont. It was 40 degrees at night and I was warm and slept like a baby at night. Of my group, I was the only one that was warm and comfortable each night. I am very hard to please and this sleeping bag was the perfect choice for me. I am very impressed with the quality and value. I would definitely buy this again. Thank you MHW for continuing to innovate and make such great products!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag, warm, relatively light This is a great bag. Super warm and comfy and great weight to warmth ratio. One tip: stuff sack it comes with is not that great BUT it fits like a glove in the Sea to Summit 10L ultra sil compression sack so pick one up

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, comfortable, good build I opted for this model over the Phantom for the slightly more durable materials (and certainly lower cost) and I'm pleased. Construction is good. In an age of chintzy zippers in the name of low weight, this bag manages to have a nice zipper and a nice fabric that is not made of tissue paper, yet is still appreciably light. The bag is warm and cozy, and the hood design is comfortable and functional so far, though I have not yet needed to draw it all the way down. The bag picked up spots of moisture here and there (condensation) over the course of a week long trip, but the Dry.Q did its job and the bag retained its loft and dried quickly. Despite not being made of the lightest, smallest materials, it packs down easily and if the included stuff sack is too big it can be compressed further. Solid bang for the buck, and I trust it to last for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cool weather bag I took this sleeping bag on a backpacking trip on the north slope of Alaska in late August. The temperature hovered around the mid 50's during the day and dropped into the 20's at night, sometimes a bit cooler. This sleeping bag performed very well. The label as a 15 degree bag is a bit high, to be comfortable in 15 degree weather you would need to wear some extra clothes. However, the bag was very comfortable, roomy (I'm 6'3" 210lbs and I had plenty of room) but not too big. The down was very lofty and regained its loft quickly after being packed in a stuff sack for long periods of time. We had snow, rain and wind during our trip and I was never uncomfortable. You have to be careful zipping it up not to snag the edge, but I never ripped the material. The length was true and never felt constricted. It was nice to wake up in temperatures just below freezing and have so much warmth that I could easily get out of bed and get dressed without losing that heat. I would definitely recommend for any trip where slightly below freezing temperatures are expected, with the caveat that extra insulation might be necessary.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One solid bag Took this bag out during a cold, wet camping trip in DEC. Temps were low at night and this bag performed like a champ. My first down bag and I will never go back to synthetic. Also, loved how small it got down in a compression bag (Went ahead and bought a Sea to Summit 10L bag). Can't wait to take this on backpacking trips this winter.
