Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dry hands during rains These gloves work extremely well to keep my hands warm and dry while backpacking, hiking, and bicycling in the rain. When needed, I use a thin liner glove underneath them for additional warmth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Gloves! I bought these gloves for my 155 mile hike along the Colorado Trail, knowing there was a good chance of Monsoon rain on that trip and being above 12,000+ ft for most of the time I knew these where a must. Well I did get hit with lots of rain and hail and these gloves worked great, the other hikers around me had frozen hands while mine stayed warm. I would first put my liner gloves on then these waterproof gloves would be over the liners keeping my hands dry, the band around the waterproof gloves is a little tight and the glove also fits slightly large. I have large size hands and these seem to be more x-large but besides that these Mountain Hardware gloves where a life saver on what turned out to be a cold wet trip in the Colorado Rockies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wind proof and lightweight I use windproof thin gloves for photographing in the cold. I can use these over a polypro liner, by themselves, or if it's really cold - inside a pair of mittens. They let me operate all the controls on my camera and the lining offers extra warmth. They will also work nicely for jogging, biking, hiking - I'm impressed. The wrist collar is pretty tight, and they aren't super easy or quick to put on, but the pull loop helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glove of my Dreams I dreamed of a waterproof utility glove for splitboarding that would be perfect for changing between ride mode and tour mode. Something for putting on/removing climbing skins during heavy snow that would give me dexterity to work but not be too tight to slip on clammy hands. These dream gloves were super durable but also incredibly lightweight, so much so that I barely cared to add them to my pack list weight chart. When Mountain Hardwear brought this dream to life they threw in a little bonus... you can operate a touch screen with them on! On trying this out it was a little clunky. BUT I think I could operate my DSLR camera with these on. I might have to buy a second pair. EDIT: Bought a second pair. Now own them in medium and large. Been wearing the mediums on wet days while commuting through the city and getting better at using my phone with them on. Mediums are snug but comfortable. The Larges work better for the a fore mentioned backcountry use :)
