Ozonic™ 50 OutDry® Backpack is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Packy pack Great pack! Carried for 70 miles over a few months. Pros Fits well, Easy to adjust to your size. Durable materials. Keeps gear dry! It’s just the right size for most weekend or long weekend trips. The roll top allows the size of the bag to change base on load. Lid pouch converts to chest pouch with no extra equipment. Great for float trips Cons Unable to simply carry a water bladder (you can, you just need to be creative). Top loader has one main pouch, when digging out your bag everything has to come out, which you should expect with a top loading pack

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It - Appalachian Trail Proven Recently picked up this pack and used it 6 days on the Appalachian trail. I was originally unsure about having a pack with a single main compartment and not more partitions, but it turned to be great; especially considering it allows the pack to be water proof without the need for a cover. Any of the small items that may be needed easily fit in the top cover pockets. To help break up the main compartment some, I separate my different items out into dry bags (to keep them dry outside the pack). Having been caught in torrential rain before, I greatly value dryness. With this pack, I can fit everything inside the pack. The only things I keep on the out side are the tent and camp chair (if carrying). I then keep my camp shoes, rain pants, and ran jacket in the outside pocket so that I can easily access them in the event of rain, without needing to open the pack. Everything else I carry (sleeping bag, pad, clothes, personal items, first aid kit, cookware, food) all fit inside the main dry section of the pack. I also love the adjustability of this pack. I'm 6'1" ~190lbs and picked up the M/L pack and it fits me perfectly, and kept me from getting any painful hotspots in my back or torso while carrying. Its well padded where it needs to be, and has plenty of adjustments to get a good fit. Also the pockets on the hip portion of the pack are perfect for trail snacks. The one thing I was concerned about not being made for a water bladder... so I thought. Turned out, I was easily able to slip a bladder from amazon between the backing frame work and the main pack. This keeps the bladder very close to your back and wasn't at all awkward for me. I used the small strap that goes over the top of the pack to secure the bladder in place. The bladder I use is made for a max of 2L, though for me it was best not to fill it more than 1-1.5L to best fit in the space. Overall, construction is very solid. I especially like the strong pull tabs on all of the zippers. Already planning another 7 days and nights on the AT with this pack; cant wait to get it back on the trail! Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice backpack The pack was everything I expected. The quality looks to be top notch. I bought this pack for my son and he's waiting to use it. One thing that really impressed me was how quickly i received the pack after ordering it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultimate one-pack quiver I bought this pack mostly for weekend trips but wanted something with a little extra capacity for luxury items or extra food & fuel for multi-day expeditions. My absolute criteria was watertight construction as I didn't want to deal with dry sacks, pack liners, rain covers, etc anymore. After a couple hikes in the rain and one unplanned dunk in a stream, I will wholeheartedly vouch for Outdry. MH has put a lot of thought into this pack and it shows. For example, there are vertical gaps in the side pockets so water bottles can be stored at a 45 degree angle, making them reachable without removing the pack. If rain is expected, the lid can be clipped upside down to hide the zippers, thus keeping every drop of rain out. The lid can also be removed entirely to save weight, or clipped to the shoulder straps and carried as a chest pocket. The frame can be adjusted within 3 inches to accommodate your exact torso size. The hipbelt buckle is off-centered so it doesn't dig into your stomach. There is a security clip in the lid for your keys (missing from the smaller Scrambler series), and the webbing for the shoulder straps are looped so you can rest your arms during extremely long hikes. Even the 'cloudburst' color is a refreshing change from the usual drab colors you find on most packs. The only minor complaints I have are the hipbelt pockets need to be larger to accommodate modern smartphones, and the outer stash pocket needs more slack. Overall I I think MH has really hit this one out of the park- there simply isn’t another pack on the market with this combination of features, capacity, and waterproof design. Buy it! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another solid pack Been using the SouthCol 70 for a few years. Replacing it with this one. Haven't had a chance to see how it holds up on a long trip yet. From what I can tell so far, this will be my go to pack. Perfect size for most. Compresses down nicely if not full.
