Optic™ 6 Tent is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Optic six rain fly seam tape Well I like the optic six tent it’s big easy to set up and has great views. I do not like that I have gotten the run around about how to send back or replace the poorly seam taped rain fly. There is a very small section that was taped poorly and I’ve been told I cannot get a refund because it’s past the 60 days of purchase. The thing leaked within minutes of a rain storm on our four day trip, it rained twice lucky at night and we hung up a rain coat to catching the leak. I recommend to all who buy to test your tent and not assume it’s a high quality product. If you test it with in the 60 days of purchase and you don’t like it or find a defective you can get your money back. Learn from my mistake.ps the foot print is a must buy option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent tent for two to three people Great tent for two or three people and dogs sleeping on cots....four if they aren't! Lots of standup room, easy to set up and the quality is very good. I would recommend buying the footprint for it, as the floor, while strong, is still thin enough to be torn on hard stones or sticks. The airflow is good and the fly is very easy to install. The tent pitching is a 1.5 person job, but can be done single person.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Optic 6 Tent- Camp Comdo After owning a Mountain Hardware EV 2 for many years i wanted something larger for Campsite/ Basecamp for friends/ Family. First time setup took 10 minutes with rainfly! The inside is super roomy and comfortable. I also have the room divider which work great as a privacy wall from adjacent campsites. The colors look great and the material and design are top notch. If you are looking for a larger tent just biy the Optic 6; you will not be dissapointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great family shelter Bought this in Aus, used in howling wind and pouring rain this weekend, up to mtb hardware stds, dry and solid. A couple of minor suggestions, some extra guy out points on the fly skirt, and grommets to seat the brow pole into the fly. Other than that this is a fantastic tent offering enough space for two adults and two messy kids easily, the dogs were not overly impressed with space in the vestibule, but you can't please everyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big tent.... This tent is very big, easy to assemble, it took less then ten minutes, same for dismantling that tente, we owned a Casa 4 for the past tent years never had issued with with that tent, stable with wind, rain, (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Views! This is a great family tent with a lot of headspace for taller campers. Sturdy tent when staked down and can fit our family comfortably in. ( queen air mattress + 2 twins ). I really enjoy all the mesh and the setup of the doors, provides a great way to relax with a view without getting eaten alive by mosquitos during early summer trips. Would recommend for anyone needing more verticle height and a tent that can comfortably handle 2 adults and 2 kids. The tent itself goes up easy alone or with a little help. The clip that holds the two poles together in the top middle would be difficult for someone who is not quiet as tall as I am 6'3 but other than that setup is a snap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great family tent and survives the elements Took this bad boy out for Memorial Day weekend and had a nasty storm roll through with heavy downpours and high winds, but this thing didn't drop a leak and we felt very secure inside. My only gripe was the screen door looked to be frayed like something rough had been drug across it. Contacted CS and they quickly sent a new one. Gotta love MH support. This thing could not be easier to setup with three poles and your done. Breaking down is just as easy. Love the tent and would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Optic 6 The tent felt very roomy for a six person tent and still might have room for a bit of gear. The construction was sturdy and would stand up to a decent gust with out much material flapping around. Only thing I would recommend if you purchase this tent is the screen entries are much easier if you zip from the bottom to the top. Because if how tight the fabric fits, the doors stretch a fair amount making it difficult to zip the other way. I pitched the tent alone before the rest of my group showed up in about 10 minutes. No troubles there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Summer Camper I bought this tent so my family can camp in the Summer primarily. We had our first go this week and the tent worked flawlessly. It was large enough for two large air mattresses plus all of our bags. We had to be door flaps open the whole time and enjoyed the stars. It does get a little colder at night though. The zippers on the doors are smooth and precise with every opening/closing. The main door on the rain fly cannot be rolled up or down without opening the main door and stepping inside, but I'm only 5'9! Not sure why the footprint is not included, that would have been a nice touch.
