Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lightweight Shacket Lightweight and packable. I'm 6', 240, with a 48 chest and the XL fits perfectly. I only wish is was a little shorter to make it back a little less shirt like and a little more jacket like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What's a shacket? My dad used to rock shackets that were functional but not my style so I never bought into the concept. Maybe it's bc I'm getting older but this is a great piece of outerwear. Wore it last night with a t-shirt in 45 degree F weather and I was fine! The slick nylon feels cold at first but warms right up. The fit is long, like a dress shirt, but still looks good with normal streetwear like jeans, sneakers, etc. (5'8" and 174lb, athletic build) Mountain functionality without the tech wear look, thanks MHW.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shacket-time! Another super high quality product from MH. I'm 5'11" - 185lbs - 40R jacket and thought the M might be a little big at first, but fits like a glove under fall/winter layers. Great detailing and hidden pockets. Big fan and people are already tired of hearing about my new shacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and Comfortable I tried this jacket on in the store after being attracted to the look (the grey "shark" colorway is well represented online). One of my favorite features is how comfortable it is once you put it on. The lining is very "slick" so you can layer it underneath a larger jacket for when it's really cold, and it doesn't "snag" on the outer layer, which allows very good range of motion and flexibility, even with a t shirt underneath. Again - very comfortable. I was also surprised by how warm it is. Definitely a jacket in terms of warmth. I wear this shacket with a rain shell on the outside to be waterproof, and this combo has served me well in the mid 40s. Too hot for much warmer than that. Probably need to layer something a little warmer on the outside instead of a shell when it gets in the 30s and below. It does fit a tad bit large. I wear a large in pretty much every button down and tee, as well as most jackets but found the medium suits me best (I'm about 5'8, 170). If you have any other MHW gear, their sizing seems to be a little tricky. I also have a medium button down shirt from them, but a large t-shirt. ? At any rate, it's not uncommon for brands to make jackets a bit larger. One thing I would like to point out is that this jacket is also somewhat long. Like a shirt. Go figure. Overall - pretty satisfied with this purchase and I recommend MHW gear to a lot of my friends.
