Rated 3 out of 5 by from it's just ok I have one of these jackets, and I thought I was buying a second one that looked and was described as exactly the same. the original was made in Vietnam, and had the traditional mountain hardware logo, with the name and the hexagon. The second one that is the subject of this review was made in China and lacks the traditional logo (instead has just the hexagon). Same size, large was ordered both times, this second one is a little snug. Zippers are tighter and harder to move up and down as well. Seems like it's not as high qualtity as the first. It's OK, I'm not sending it back, but it's definitely not the same as the first one, which I absolutely love.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quilted, Insulated, Shirt/Jacket Thin, quilted well, sewn well, quality zippper. Works as an insulative layer when worn in conjunction under a military type field jacket. Good for temperature regulation when transitioning from strong physical activity to static, and vice versa. Cuffs are form fitting and keep fabric clear of hands for manual work activities.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Son loves it Bought this jacket for my son, he is 5.9 and weighs about 160. The medium fits well, my son loves this light weight coat as he does not like heavy bulky jackets.it is good for all seasons! His only comment was he wished it was a little longer at the wiaist. On exstremly cold days he uses this under a shell coat. Great looking with the extra quilted pattern too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best light weight jacket you can buy I love this jacket. It’s 4x’s as warm as it is light. Incredible. It’s so easy to just grab and go. Here in the Smokey mountain area the temps in the winter can fluctuate rather drastically with it being 20’s in the morning and 50’s in the afternoon and then dropping again after work. This jacket is the best for the occasion. I would highly recommend this jacket for anyone wanting to keep the cold out. It’s a great liner for a shell too. When you pack it in the stow pocket it’s small enough to fit under the seat of the car or the bottom of my day pack. But still big enough to add my Desna gloves in before I zip it up. I would recommend this jacket to everyone.
