Reviews

Men's StretchDown™ Jacket is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This jacket just feels good to wear I bought this jacket for a base layer under my hard shell for really cold days and also to wear on its own. The matte black jacket without hood looks sharp and definitely sharp enough to wear going out on a cold night. The large fits me prefect at 6'1" and 195 lbs. I don't know how to describe better than it just feels good to wear it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome jacket! My boyfriend got one and loved it so I got one for my dad! It keeps you really warm but it’s super lightweight. The jackets are both size mediums but my dad’s is smaller which is kind of a bummer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Puffy warmth Love the jacket. XL fits well but I usually wear a large. Zippers are good. Like the adjustable hem. Sleeve length good. Collar fits well when zipped up. Like the fabric. Jacket keeps me warm in the wind. Pockets are a plus. Would definitely purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great warm winter jacket at a great deal Awesome like all mountain hardware gear. It fits great and it is very warm and no feathers poking out like my other one. The stretch material is great and provides a lot of freedom of movement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The most versatile puffy on the market. This is my favorite jacket. I probably wear it more often than I should, to be entirely honest. It's just so darn versatile, though, that I find myself grabbing this jacket in nearly any situation. The fit is perfect and the angled baffles look great on anyone. The baffles themselves are much more firm than most puffy jackets, which just feels fantastic every time you throw it on. The material is durable, and the range of motion is completely non-restricting. Interestingly, I was especially impressed by the way this jacket feels when moving between being outside/inside. I've ridden my bicycle outside and felt toasty warm while wearing this well below 30 degrees + windchill, but then when I go inside at 70 degrees it still feels comfortable enough that I don't need to take it off. I think everyone should have a Stretchdown. Mine has completely changed the way I think about down jackets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket For sizing, I am 5'10" and about 195 lbs. This jacket fits close to the body and around the neck (when zipped to the top) which minimizes the cold air flow in the jacket. There is great stretch in the body and arms of the jacket that allow full freedom of movement. I normally wear the jacket with just a shirt, or a shirt and thin insulating fleece. With the insulating layer I would say this jacket is good to a few degrees above or below freezing. Colder, of course, if you are active. It is crazy lightweight, versatile and well made. It is going to be my go to jacket. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Messed up sizing The jacket itself is great but the sizing is not right, I wear a large in almost all brands. If you have any kind of muscle tone in your arms/shoulders, the armpits will be super tight. The body itself was almost to large and the length of the arms. If they figure out the sizing issue, then it will be a good jacket, but I'm returning it because the arms are uncomfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit issues First the bad. This, like most mountain hardwear these days, fits large and poorly. It's tight around the armpits and shoulders but quite a lot of room in the belly. Arms are plenty long even in the medium. (I am 6'1" 165#) The stiffness of the fabric exacerbates the poor fit but the stretch helps! I wish mtn headwear would go back to a more athletic fit. I often take a large, but went with the medium. It's a little tight in the armpits, plenty of room in the pot belly area. !! But narrow at the waist. The large was too fat. The good is, it's nice and warm. The thicker stretch fabric makes it a little warmer than a down jacket with the same down but very light nylon. Looks like it will be durable too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Jacket is awesome I bought this jacket online with size large and color zinc. It is so amazing it keeps you completely warm in even in 16F. I love the full neck covering design and it’s water repellent technology is amazing. I poured a glass of water on the hands and no wetting at all. Zinc color is also extraordinary. Love this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket Super warm and light, this jacket is my go to in cool weather and pairs well with a shell when it's really nasty out.
