Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Pants In all seriousness, this is the first time I've ever written a review of a piece of clothing/gear, but these pants deserve some praise. I bought these three days ago, so I can't speak much on durability (though I have no worries about it), however, as far as comfort and functionality go, they're awesome. Over the past three days of wearing these non-stop, I've bouldered, gone on a road trip, napped, and even threw on some nicer shoes and a flannel with them to go out to dinner...and they've impressed me through all of it. Beyond the obvious comfort of these pants, their features put them on an entirely different level. For instance, the adjustable elastic cord around the ankle cuff (hidden on the inside of the pant) is awesome. When climbing in them I can cinch it down so the pant doesn't fall over my ankle, but when wearing them with regular shoes I can leave it loose to give it more of a traditional khaki look. Also, the drawstring on the waistband is brilliant. Instead of making it like a traditional shoelace drawstring, MH made a closed off single loop to eliminate the chance of the string pulling through the waistband (it also creates a lower-profile look). Overall, these pants have jumped to the top of my favorites list after just three days of having them. I'll be taking a road trip out to Denver, A-Basin, and Moab here in two months and already plan on climbing, hiking, and road-tripping in them (will post pictures after the trip)! Kudos to MH for making such a ridiculously comfortable and functional pant!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Amazing pants. So functional, so comfortable, and they actually look better than expected. I wear these pants all the time, yoga, climbing, camping, fly fishing, ect. Elastic ankle cuff broke on one of the two pair I have but I just the leg up if I want em 3/4 length.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Pants! These pants are lightweight, tough, and incredibly versatile. My only gripe about them pants is that they only come in a 32" inseam. A 30" inseam would have been perfect, but I still love these pants! Incredible work Mountain Hardwear!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice casual pant for around the house Initially grabbed a pair of these for taking to the gym on colder mornings, and for climbing. The draw strings on the ankles are rather cheap, and not particularly resilient. The pant material is very comfortable, and seems like it will hold up over time. Quite happy with this purchase, overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great climbing pants. Thes pants fit great. I love the elastic at the ankles. They have an excellent amount of stretch and so far wear very well. You can't beat the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for Scramblig I took these out for a 7,000' day of boulders, glaciers, and dirt/roots, and they were up to the task. Wins from my perspective: - The drawstring waist is comfy and fits well under a harness or the waist belt of a pack. - The fitted lower leg worked well under gaiters and didn't ooze out the bottom. - The stretch has the right amount of movement without feeling thin or like I'm wearing tights.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lightweight pants I like almost everything about these pants. The material is very light---they are definitely for the summer. They've held up well to rock climbing, and the freedom of movement is excellent. I can't comment on water resistance yet. There are two things I'm not so fond of. The first is pretty minor: the continuous-loop drawstring really needs the addition of a cord toggle. Trying to knot it is a pain. The second item is not a big deal but less minor: the hip pocket is way too deep; the bottom of the pocket comes below my knee. Anything with any bulk at all ends up banging around against your knee, so you can't use the hip pocket for a phone or even bulky keys; a topo or map is the only thing I'd put there.
