Rated 5 out of 5 by Yura from Great pants Very good pants. Warm and comfortable. Nice color range. I read reviews here and took one size up. And pants fit perfectly! My height is 192 cm, weight is 87 kg. I took the size 33/32. The only remark is weight. I do not know what size weighs 140 grams as it was said in the description, my pants weigh exactly 500 grams. It has to be corrected on my opinion. I am looking forward to try them at the Denali and at the Peak Pobedi this summer

I've been amazing at their design and comfort and I'm really happy with my purchase. The ability to cinch the legs is a feature I didn't know I wanted but I use all of the time. My only complaint is that the drawstring tie-up for the waist is a continuous loop, which means it's more difficult to tie easily and I would have preferred a standard two string tie. Great pants!

Rated 4 out of 5 by BobS from Warm and comfortable Bought these pants for a recent winter trip to the Sierra Nevada, where I'd be doing some cross country skiing and snowshoeing. They performed perfectly for both of those activities, and could also be worn afterward for a dinner trip to a local brew-pub. Only thing I'd like to have changed would be the drawing "string" for cinching up the waist. It's an elastic string that I know will get weak over time... and it really doesn't cinch-down firmly enough. I get that it, when cinched, still allows for non-restricting expansion, but I found that wearing a pack caused the pants to slide down at the waist. Ideally, I'd prefer belt-loops over a string (of any kind). Another bit of feedback is in regard to sizing. Glad I read the reviews, in which one person recommended sizing-up the waist one size. I normally wear a 30 x 30 (I'm 5'9", 145 lbs, endurance-athlete build), but ordered a 31" waist. GREAT fit. Overall, I'm very happy with these britches. Typical MHW quality and functionality. Would absolutely buy again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bob83 from Lined Right Bank Pants The pants have a good fit. I'm 5'9" and 165 lbs and I got the 32 waist with 30 inseam so they would be above my boots. They have a good taper to them but not too tight so I can easily fit a light long underwear layer underneath them if needed. Compared to several other brands of insulated hiking/climbing pants these are the lightest and just as warm if not warmer because of the shape. Overall a great pant except the zipper fly. There's just not enough fly there to be useful and they should save the weight and drop the fly.

Pants are extremely comfortable and warm, are great for going between quick bursts of intense exercise and standing/sitting around in cold weather during breaks. Can be a bit hot in mild or warmer weather, or prolonged exercise. Also makes a great (albeit somewhat pricey) sweat pant for lounging around in the evening.
