Rated 4 out of 5 by erik822 from Well made, but... These are really well made. Nice materials, great construction and a little bit more snug fit. I bought these to replace a set of really baggy pants I've been using for the last few seasons. They fit tighter, which is what I was looking for, but the crotch is cut low and makes big movements hard. I'm a Telemark skier and need to be able to move my legs independently and the way these are made, they bind. They're fine for normal downhill skiing and snowboarding, where you don't need as much movement. If they put a gusset of some kind in the crotch, I think they would be perfect, but without that they're just a little too constricting.

Rated 3 out of 5 by 503ski from Returnia Shell Pant I purchased a pair of these pants last year and loved them. I sweat easily on the mountain so these lightweight shell pants were perfect for me. I was excited to purchase a second pair this year. However, I was bummed to find out that Mountain Hardwear completely changed the fit of the pant. Last year was a nice relaxed fit with plenty of room in the thigh, bottom and knee. This year, they are a much slimmer fit, taper in the knee and then bell bottom out a bit at the ankle. While I know this is the style of today's clothing, I do not like the tighter fit when skiing. It feels too restrictive. The construction of the pant was still excellent so if you like a slimmer fit, these are still great pants. I just prefer a more relaxed fit when skiing.
