Men's Quasar™ Lite Pant is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from favorite mountain pant These are my favorite pants I own/ super versatile, both legs completely open up with barely noticeable zippers on the leg sides, the fit is not baggy but definitely not slim fitting either. I have taken this pant high on mt hood skiing and camping in the snow, it stays very very dry, not to mention its light as a feather. love these pants so much

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First impressions Out of the box today. Pants are ultra lightweight, amazing considering they use dry Q elite and not a dedicated light-shell like paclite or dry Q evap/active. Since dry q elite is on par with eVent and Gore-Tex Pro, As far as being a full-time wear type fabric as opposed to an "emergency" shell type fabric. The fact that it weighs about the same as a typical paclite emergency shell garment is very impressive. The first thing I noticed was the waist is true to size but cut trim, meaning that if you order to-size, they will be hard to pull on over existing soft shell pants. I interpret this to mean that it was designed to not be an emergency shell. The assumption being that the 5L dry Q elite with moderate stretch will be comfortable when worn all day under the right type of conditions for this pant. Im assuming about 25-40 degrees in wet to moderately wet climates. I'll be in a 12 day alpine mountaineering trip in the north cascades WA in May, so they will get their first run there. We shall see how they fit into my overall clothing Arsenal.
