Men's Powzilla™ Insulated Jacket is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality, deceiving name I purchased this jacket early in October and used it all the way through April as my primary snowboarding jacket. Overall it was a good purchase however it did leave me a little unsatisfied on days when I was really hoping for the jacket to excel. I wore this jacket 25+ days this season. The warmth of this jacket was great and I was very pleased with it on even the coldest of days (-40 with windchill). I do give mountain hard wear a lot of credit when designing this jacket, it was extremely breathable and I rarely had an issues with overheating that could not quickly be solved with opening the pit zips for several minutes. The outer layer was designed to have weaved material which was very good against abrasions from trees and branches in the woods. The only complaint I had from this product was the naming of the product was very deceiving. I bought this jacket because I was hoping for something that could be used and excel on deep powder days. I wore this jacket on 3 serious pow days and each time the jacket would become soaked within several hours. Not just the exterior layer being wet, SOAKED. It would dry out quickly however if you are a serious pow hunter you may want to consider the next level of water resistance. When something is named a "Powzilla" it gives the impression that it will excel in powder did not. The velcro on the cuffs did tear and rip away and I have yet to warranty this product. I am 5'10" and 160 lb the medium fit me very well, a little loose and baggy which I enjoyed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Ski Jacket I just got back from a ski trip to Keystone Colorado. This was the first time I got to use this jacket. This jacket is very warm and comfortable. One of the days I was on the mountain the temperature was 20 degrees with very heavy snow. The jacket kept me very warm and did excellent in the heavy snow. The jacket looks great and fits just a little big. I am 5'9" and weight 145. I bought the small and overall it fits great. My only dislike about this jacket is the two outer chest pockets. They open from the top which makes them just a little hard to get into but not enough to rate it lower. The left chest pocket does have a side zipper so you can open it easy. I would recommend this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spot on! Clean lines, tons of features Excellent design and construction. The fabric of the outer shell has a subtle herringbone weave that keeps it from being too "slick", and seems to make it a bit tougher and less prone to abrasion. As other reviewers have noted, the jacket has a wide variety of pockets and storage, but manages to cram them all in without looking bulky. I'm especially happy with the weight of the insulation, which is in the "sweet spot" of not too much/not too little. It's plenty warm with a simple base layer or two for an average winter day, but is cut with enough room to layer up for especially cold days (I've been comfortable down to -5 with windchill of -40 by throwing a lightweight "puffy" underneath.) Simply put, I'm VERY happy with this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ski Jacket has Everything This jacket is awesome. Really has everything you need, including tons of pocketing and interior pocket for my music player. Powder skirt works super well and the hood fits over my helmet which is a huge plus. Worth every penny.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Jacket for Outdoor Activities Bought the jacket early October and it performed very well in both raining and snowing condishions. Outer shell of the jacket can take quite a pounding and not tear or rip. Large hood fits perfectly around snow helmets and its large pockets have plenty of space for Gloves, keys, ect .. overall a great jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Many more features than described on website I bought this product online and it exceeded my expectations. There are many features not described on First, it includes an emergency rescue locating system (a type of passive reflective material to find you in an avalanche that I think is RECCO). Second, it includes not only a goggle pocket, but an attached lens cleaner for your googles. Third, it includes armpit zipper vents, which were perfect when I got too hot but needed the waterproof protection. I have no idea why Moutainhardware would not list these on the web. The jacket is warm, provides good mobility, has a ton pockets for skiing, has an attractive fabric and has several thoughtful "undocumented" features. It fits slightly large, so I could easily layer other items when it is cold. It's a great jacket. The only downside is the website completely understates the features. I hope you are as pleasantly surprised with the extra features as I was if you buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile Warmth I absolutely love this jacket! Being 6' 5" it's super challenging to find clothes that fit properly and still look good, however this jacket checks both boxes. Living in the great white north it's essential to have a quality jacket that can be used in a many different types of weather/situations. After searching around some other very high end jacket manufacturers I stumbled upon this jacket. Being that I snowboard regularly I wanted something that had all of the necessary features like a goggle pocket, waist gaiter, armpit vents, hood big enough to fit a helmet, and a pocket for your mp3. I also plan to wear this jacket everyday and needed it to be good for daily use (i.e. shoveling the driveway when it's -10 degrees outside). The fact that the jacket is waterproof, insulated, has tons of pockets for storage, and is lightweight makes it a great daily jacket too! I searched for about a month on end for the best jacket I could buy (money wasn't an issue), and I couldn't be more pleased that I got this one. Save yourself the hassle and go with it!
