Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, durable pant Great pant..so far so good. Great looks, awesome durability. Could use a little more stretch to it since the description says its a "climbing" pant, but perhaps it will loosen up after a few break ins. I'm happy so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MT5 Pant - Great so far I had to look at the other reviews before I bought this pant and agree that it is very functional for day-to-day, but more importantly out on the trail. I've only been hiking with it for a few days so far, but there is enough stretch to move with my body on the trail. I also like how trim it is - no extra clunky features that you don't need! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent pants These pants are excellent! Shake off abuse, and still clean up well. If you think you may be between sizes, go higher. Or I might be in denial...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Men's MT5™ Pant !!! These pants run a little small in the waist, so order a size up, other than that, they are amazing. For a synthetic material they breathe really well. Use them for camping, cutting the grass or sipping brews at the pub. The best part, is a elastic internal keeper in the back pocket that keeps your cell phone from jostling around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Traveling pants Got 2 pairs on sale. Initially the material felt a bit stiff, but wash and wear should loosen them up. They feel very durable but look decent enough for the office or just walking around town. Fit is about right, maybe trimmer and an inch shorter in the legs than expected but not snug. Minor gripe on the little stretch phone pocket inside the left back pocket. It would be too small for any of the newer jumbo sized phones. I don't use it and it can get in the way if you tend to keep your wallet on that side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great pair of pants - already bought extra pairs. These are a great pair of functional pants, and I find the fit to be true to size. I am 6'1" tall and 215, and the 36/30's fit me well. A little snug in the thighs, but comfortable for any number of activities. I liked the first pair I bought so much I purchased two more in different colors. Highly recommend these pants!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Travel Pant I purchased the MT5s for an upcoming trip to the UK. Mountain Hardwear gear always stands up to whatever I can throw at it and these pants are no different. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A modern cut with some quirks Let me start by saying that I like these enough that I bought two pairs. The fabric is bulletproof and the the overall quality is supurb, and the fit is the Goldilocks zone for me: not baggy and constricting or too tight. Length is right on but the waist feels a little roomy for me.I really like the styling too; I can easily dress them up or down for work or the trail. My biggest complaint is the elasticated pockets; if you carry a knife in your pocket it wants to sit on the stretch panels and obliterate them over time. I use either the cell phone pocket (which fits most phones without a case or a wallet pretty well) or the coin pocket. They look cool, but I feel they would be better placed at the top of the pocket instead of the bottom. Minor thing, but a little bit annoying. Other than that, I have nothing but praise and people do tend to notice them and want to pick a pair up for themselves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect do-anything pant The soldado canvas is noticeably tougher than similar nylon blend pants from MHW and their competitors. The stretch gussets make the front pockets easier to access; great feature. Solid pant that stands up to everyday wear while having the technical chops for backcountry use. The waist is runs a tad small as others have mentioned so be aware when ordering. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are fit for "The Warrior" Yoga, hiking, cycling and everyday everywhere pants "Sun Salutation" and "The Warrior" postures with ease. For me, a notch above my Pieros; as the similar fabric seems slightly thicker, the knees are articulated, and pockets upgraded. It's great that even I can afford them on the end of season sale price. These fit like my Piero and Traveler pants that are typically, slightly roomy in the waist butt and thigh on me and I like them this way. My waist is 30". Typically, a 30" MH waist measures 31".
