Men's Hardwear AP-U™ Pant is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The search is over I have been on a quest to find the perfect travel / hiking / climbing pant, and to no avail. There are many options out there and I have tried them all. I recently purchased a pair of the AP-U pants and the search has ended! I love this pant !! I am 5'9 165lbs with an athletic shape, the fit and feel of the fabric for my size and shape is almost perfect, trim through the thigh but not restricting, with the leg tapering all the way down. I'll need the 30" waist taken up a half notch but if I went down in size the thighs would be too tight I'm afraid. other than that they are the perfect pant. Pockets in all the right places and not just one on one leg, I have been looking for this option for a while in a pant that fits and feels like these. usually the material is too thin to really support a front thigh pocket and this one is placed perfectly. the pocket on the opposite side is perfect for a minimalist wallet with a snap closure, again perfect ! unlike the pocket on the AP pant which is too small for either a wallet much less todays phones, although if MH would increase the size of thigh pocket on the AP pants it would be great as well. I will be buying these AP-U pants as long as their making them. Please design a similar pant with a summer weight material and all the same options and fit and you'll sell a million, I'm sold!!!
