Men's Hardwear AP™ Pant is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 69.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome everything pant These look like cotton dress pants, but the nylon and stretch give it the ability to climb, bike, or walk wherever you want.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Power pants Here's a pant for every activity everyday. I bought my first pair and shortly after bought a second pair. I started wearing the first pair like everyday, then knew I better buy a second in a different color just so I can pull that off. I do everything in these pants from riding a bicycle around town, hiking, rock climbing, working in the yard, to going out on the town. I get a lot of "Where did get those pants?" These things are super functional as well as stylish. The pockets are very secure and well placed for cell phone's, wallets, pocket knife, etc.. The thigh pocket is great for storing that pesky cell phone. Easy access, yet keeps it in a comfortable spot. Take it from someone who hates carrying things in his pockets. The pants look and work great rolled up and snapped at the bottom or extended all the way out. They do have a semi-slim fit. So if you have quads built for squatting houses, they might hug you tight. I personally don't fit well into skinny jeans (thank god, but had to try) and these seem to have that stylish fit without being over the top. Still being a durable pant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Pants These pants are great! They're really comfortable and the material is really durable. The side pocket on the leg is perfectly cell-phone sized, which is awesome as long as you are putting your phone in it, otherwise it's kind of hard to get your hand in to grab stuff. Good thing I only use it for my phone! They're not super moisture-wicking, so they are definitely not a warm weather pant but they will be perfect for the colder months coming up. I think these will be my go-to climbing pants for the winter!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall Excellent pants for any adventure I ordered the Golden Brown color in a size 34 x 32. I am 5'11", 200lbs and they fit me perfect in length and around the waist. They are a little snug in the thigh but open up around the ankle. The build quality is nothing short of what I have come to expect from Mt.Hardwear, First Class. They feel extremely durable and up to any task I personally could ask of them. I really like how well they move and stretch with me. The snaps around the calf are a welcome addition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hello Versatility! This is truly the most versatile pair of pants I have ever worn. I've actually worn these to my strict dress pant and dress shirt office without looking out of place. They look great with causal shoes or hiking boots. Buy these. You won't regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Possibly The Best Pants Ever I purchased The AP pants in Golden Brown as a gift for my husband after reading some great reviews. Not only did these look great but they have held up amazingly well. The fit was perfect considering he has a tall, thin but very athletic build and he likes being able to roll the pants up. Most importantly we took a 2 week trip to Iceland and backpacked for 1 week then traveled around for another week and I kid you not these were the only pants he wore, even on the plane, they looked great and didn't even smell bad. The pants performed during our 5 day trek through rain (these are not rain pants but were ok in light drizzle), snow and some serious rock scrambling. He took a couple falls but the pants were just fine. Now that we are home he still pretty much only wants to wear them and will get another pair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ripped in GTNP Wore them twice, ripped them twice. Wore them up the middle teton and ripped the thigh immediately. A friend stitched that together well, then wore them up mount owen where they ripped in another area. Same friend patched the other hole up. But I will no longer trust these pants on longer climbs. Disappointed overall

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a hiking pant that fits This is the first hiking pant that fits, is fashionable and multipurpose. Every pant in my 64 years has been baggy because they all have to be shortened. This still has to be shortened but is not baggy. I am trekking for a week and can't wait. The only drawback is that I lost the ability to use the snap for rolling up, but they stay put without the snap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Skinny Jeans! So these are comfy but too much of a skinny jean style for me. Mainly noticeable around the calves. The material is nice, somewhat stretchy and seems durable for what it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic, Versatile Pant I purchased these pants to use for hiking and climbing. They fit well (though a little slim) and the stretch is fantastic. They are lightweight and breathable yet tough, they feel very durable, and they held up very well summitting a couple 14ers in CO. In addition, they look great for casual use. I highly recommend these compared to my Columbia and REI brand hiking pants.
