Men's Hardwear AP™ Pant is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 106.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best all around pants I finally found the perfect pair of pants. The fabric and stitch quality is superb, the fit is perfect for me [slim and straight but not "skinny" - though I do have a small frame], and I can wear them everywhere. This is my second pair [definitely not the last] and I pretty much wear these exclusively now. Good for the office and traveling, comfortable and with great range of movement for hiking, and they even look slick dressed up with a nice shirt and jacket. I've had my first pair for about 6 months now and they show very little wear after extensive use. Time will tell, but I expect these to hold up nicely [I have a pair of Mountain Hardwear cargo pants that are still in good shape after 15 years of hiking and outdoor use].

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for travel and hiking I often travel internationally for work which equates to 30 to 40 hrs in a plane per trip. The AP pants are so comfortable on the plane and have enough style that when I arrive I can go straight to a business dinner without felling under dressed. I always have a weekend to kill on my trips and with the AP pants I can escape on a trail during the day and meet up with collages at night. They are so great bought a 2nd pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite paints ever I had my first pair and then had to get two more in different colors as they are easy to appreciate for good fit in butt, love the pockets, and wife says they look great. Well made and look like they will be around for a very long time. I roll them up with cuffs and depending on shoes roll them down. I wouldn't go to yoga in them but they do have forgiveness. Shed water when I was caught in storm so that was a plus. Spendy but the quality is worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Literally what I've been looking for I've been on the hunt for a pant like this for far too long. Something that is function for cycling and rock climbing while keeping a solid aesthetic. This pant ticks all those boxes. They're incredibly comfortable and well thought out, the fact that they have snaps on the pant roll is super rad. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Multi Functional Pant The AP Pant is a fantastic pant that I use for both hiking and work. Great flexibility and feel. No awkward pinch points. I love this pant so much I have 5 pairs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Pants, But Poor Inventory Management I really like these pants. Like someone else said, the material could be a little heavier, but barring that, I wouldn't change a thing. This style seems to fit a size larger in the waist, so I order a waist size one inch smaller. The color selection is great; I love the black and peatmoss, especially. I just wish MH was better about restocking them. They've been out of my size for nearly a month now and cannot even estimate when my size will be back in stock. Honestly, keeping an item stocked shouldn't take this long when you're the manufacturer. I'm a little disappointed. Still, my favorite pants, and that's why I'm a little miffed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 6-month report I purchased my first pair (golden brown) in September of 2017, and then four (3 shark, 1 zinc) more in November, and now I’ll probably be buying 3-4 more in various other colors. While I occasionally wear other pants, it’s rare. These are, without a doubt, the best pants I’ve ever owned, and worth the $90. The fabric does soften after a few washes. And unlike some reviewers, I have zero problems with dog hair or lint. I only hope they never stop making these. And I hope they consider a slightly heavier version, maybe 50% more weight?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well built, but fits kinda funny. I usually wear a 34 waist, but on these I need to wear a belt. Without a belt, they fall right off of my waist. I'd order a size smaller, but the 34's are also tight in the thighs. Any tighter and they'd be hard to bike in--and that's what I got these for. These are the pants I picked to replace my ancient MHW Mondays Best Pants, which I've been commuting in for a very long time. I appreciate the AP Pants for having the button-up cuff and reflective stripe, which is comparable to what were on my old pants. They make me a bit more visible on my bike. I wish that the reflective bits went all the way around my ankle like the old pants, instead of just a little stip on these, but I'll take what I can get in terms of visibility. The AP Pants are also very sturdily built--with good quality fabric and a trustworthy zipper. I'll wear them with a belt and I expect that they'll serve me fine. I just wish that they fit a bit better!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Pants Ever These are one of the favorite pants I’ve had in my life. I’m going to order two more pairs. I have worn many other outdoor and tactical pants, but the mountain hard wear product is my favorite. Because they are more comfortable sitting, bending, and I like the tapered legs. So comfortable! I am making them (in golden rod ) my uniform.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from True fit. Rugged yet comfortable I love hear pants. I’ve had several pairs over the years and every time I start looking for some new outdoor pants I always end up back here! I live in Texas and these are amazingly cool when you need them to be and I’ve been hiking in winter in Colorado in them and they manage to work in both climates well!
