Ideal parka for alpine conditionsNeeded a new parka for my recent rainier expedition without breaking the bank.
20F 30mph winds and I was toasty warm.
Great product! Highly recommended

sweet parkaEvery time I put it on, I'm amazed by how light is, how warm. I keep waiting to get cold in the wind, but so far so good. Great array of pockets placed perfectly for my long arms. Zipper works like a charm. Hood easy to adjust. I'm a fan. Great customer support.

Very NiceI got this well into spring, but I can tell this is going to be plenty warm. I'm a little disappointed in the color as it seems to be a dirty shade of yellow instead of the color in the picture. I was hoping it would have a cleaner look. I will write back if the jacket isn't as war as it feels but I don't think it will be an issue. I'll find out next winter!

Warm and CozySetting: Short 4 day/3 night hike, AT in NC, early Jan 2017. Big Snowstorm (for NC anyways). Winter Equipment Test Hike.
I was the only overnighter at the Shelters. The temps dipped to under 0 degrees F for a couple of nights at altitude. I hike in much lighter fare during the day. However, when I arrive at the shelter, this jacket comes out of the bag as my body begins to cool down and the cooler night arrives. Using a light-mid polartec jersey and this parka I was warm enough that I could sleep with the 20 degree F(!) sleeping bag partially opened and still stay warm. It is one of the few pieces of equipment I own that I feel will be Aconcagua Ready. The fit is slightly large but then you can add layers under, for those -20 F days. Obviously you will not use this when it is warm enough for wet/rainy conditions. You can't go wrong with this Parka.

perfectionWell built for the weather, extremely confortable to wear in the mountain, for hiking, snowboarding. The motion of the arms is perfectly free. the hood is an extra confort.
An easy to transport, and a nice aesthetic aspect of the glacier parka.
I hope they keep it for a long time.
