Rated 5 out of 5 by from I beat Seattle’s rain My old mountain hardware jacket was falling apart on the inner lining. I had that sucker for a good 8/9 years and it did it’s job through the rain at the Isle of Man and so many other places. I needed a replacement and had been struggling if it was worth to buy the 200 dollar jackets or not. The reviews seemed decent and I wasn’t planning on using it but for around the town, etc. the “higher end” MH jackets all complained of the jackets sticking to youn when wet so I opted for the lesser priced better reviewed. I got it just in time for a trip to Seattle with a heavy storm coming. Seattle is a PITA to take Uber’s or taxis around and my meetings were all walking distance so the jacket was going to be put to the test. I opted for a size L, in 6’2” 185lbs 32 waist - athletic type so I figured I would be able to layer. A medium would have fit but I don’t think a sweater or hoodie underneath would have worked. It was non stop rain and the temps were fluctuating. I wore it layered with a hoodie that I also picked up from here as well as just a t shirt. It kept me dry. The hood was easily adjusted so I could see but not get wet, as well as waist was adjustable to keep right and not look silly. The sleeves were great length for me who wears 34 sleeves in dress shirts. I didn’t get too hot or too cold in either condition. I was dry and it repelled the water. It did exactly what I needed. Additionally the color choice is awesome. Easy to match. Not ridiculously loud that I can’t wear to a meeting and get funny looks. I’m happy with it and hope to see it lasting as long as my other.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Emergency Poncho I wanted rain shell I could bike commute with every day. I'm a 5.10 155lb male. Small was snug but perfect as I don't like a lot of material catching wind on my ride. I was also, however, looking for a walking around jacket; a later I would throw on every day in the fall, every night in the summer and just generally a go-to. I've had mh shells before and this, to me, felt like a poncho. I'm sure it would have done well in the rain but it was not something I wanted to wear daily. I wanted form and function and this was mostly function.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coat I had my previous Mountain Hardwear raincoat for 10 years before the lining started to peel. Mountain Hardwear allowed me to return it and use the money towards the one I have now. I could not be happier with this product and that this company stands by their product. Will continue to buy from them!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed I love MH gear I'm a big guy and their 2x is on money for layering. This jacket not the case. It was even too small on my forearms

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Men's Exponent Jacket The fit of this Jacket was spot-on for me. I have long arms so sometimes getting the right fit is difficult. But the Exponent Jacket was perfect. I ordered mine large enough to allow for layering. Some XL jackets tend to hang on me like a wet gunny-sack. Not this one. The Performance of the VaporDry Body fabric is another Mountain Hard Wear killer product. During a torrential down-pour and humping through dense woodlands, in 80 degree temps. The Exponent Jacket could not have wicked moisture away more effectively, just superior breathe-ability. The AquaGuard Vislon Front Zipper repelled rain on a impressive level. Not a drop got through it. This jacket is still light weight and very packable. This is just exceptional Jacket all the way around. And it's the attention to detail and performance like this that keeps me coming back to Mountain Hard Wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps the rain out Pretty good jacket if you want something practical to keep you dry. Doesn't have as many pockets as other Mountain Harware jackets but it does the job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy Dry I purchased this jacket to wear with my uniform for the occasional raining days for walking around. It is very comfortable and looks professional!. My other MH rain jacket is mustard yellow, and would not look as nice. Ver packable as well making it fit nicely in my day bag when not needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Once again, Great product From great rain and outer gear to excellent customer service, Mountain Hardware is one of the best out there. I have purchased many items from them and this jacket is perfect for my needs of a packable, breathable, and watertight unit. My old one had a problem with the gortex after several years of use. No problem with return for full shop refund. Great folks to work with! Thx guys!
