Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not yet worn but seem awesome! I got these to replace a pair of my husband's ski pants that had malfunctioned. These seem perfect but only time and use will tell! According to the size chart my husband would wear a Medium so I ordered that first. It would fit with just a very thin base layer so we exchanged for a Large because my husband wants the option to wear these over technical pants or a thicker base layer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Other Pants Necessary I'm a SAR volunteer in Oregon. We spend up to 12 hours at a time in the outdoors, often cold nights with lots of rain. Part of SAR is sitting in vehicles, and part of SAR is hiking a lot, so there are big swings in conditions (also sun, rain, snow, wind, etc.). With all that said, I've been looking for gear that works well in all the different conditions we're in, and so far I'm very happy with these pants. Due to their waterproofness, breathability, fit, side zips, and stretch, I can wear them just like I would a normal trail pant. There's no need to switch from one garment to another or put rain pants over my boots and pants when the rain shows up. That is worth everything to me, because less gear and less fuss is just amazing. Some details I like are the belt, big zipper pockets that are compatible with a harness, and adjustable ankle snaps. Above all though, and something that I had to get used to only because it's new to me, is the stretchy and less noisy material they're made of. When I first felt the material I doubted its waterproofness, but so far so good! I highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another winner Reviewed submitted for my husband. This jacket & pant replaces his gear from 2000 which he will never get rid of. Great construction and protection. The attachment of the powder skirt from the jacket to the pant is not as substantial as it could be, meaning it can easily detach. Overall, a nice update to my gear stash with new technology from MHW.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great fit. Durabiliy issues I bought these pants in late December as my primary ice climbing pant. First impression was they fit great and comfortable. I've now used them about 20 days and have about 10 patches holding things together. Material is super light weight. I see much abrasion on legs just from wearing my harness. I'm hopeful it'll make it to the end of the season without coming apart.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Great pants with all the features needed for backcountry travel. Soft comfortable materials and light too. I sit on the cusp of medium and small but with the built in belt went with a medium, rather be big than small, and the belt works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultimate hardshell pant These panta are extremely tough and function very well. I splitboard and they were exactly what i was looking for. Full length zipps on the legs for goin up hill and nice elastic and the boots for keeping the snow out. Zippers Do Not bind up and function well. Has a built in belt wich was a must for me. These pants are great one leas thing to worry about.
