Men's Chockstone™ Hike Pant is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lightweight yet durable climbing pants Fit trim as expected for climbing pants. Super comfortable and have the adjustable waist. The strap for the waist took some getting used to. The pockets are a little small so for city wear they aren't perfect. But for climbing, hiking, or other active days they are great. Look good enough to go to a bar afterwards too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glaciers, waterfalls, mountains - Chockstone handled it all We hike the 1st part of Crow Pass in Girdwood, AK and the Chockstone pants performed like a boss! The hike had all the elements, sunshine, wind, rain, and snow. mountains, lakes, waterfalls, glaciers. Handled all conditions for a summer hike no problem. See pictures. the stretch in these pants are unbelievable, allowing full range of movement and comfort for any trail we tackled. one con: tried holding phone in leg and back pockets. due to light fabric and moisture wicking performance, it felt awkward and got sweaty. no big deal, put everything in the pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great in all weather, very comfy I wore these during a month of field work in the Alps where they held up well against rock and thorns. The temps ranged from 40s to 90s and these stayed as comfortable as I could have hoped. I generally avoid pants while doing active things since I get hot easily, so the fact that I even wore these regularly speaks to their breathability. They are definitely slim cut (make your butt look great) but are stretchy and move well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants They are awesome, and feel great. I needed a set of pants that had an integral belt, but allowed me to use another belt over it. This pants rock!!!! the only thing that I might even bring up is that the pants fit snug around my legs, not a big fan of skinny jeans. But these are flexible enough not crowd any body parts and remain very comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these pants!! I bought these pants for hiking in Alaska. Out of the box these are by far the most comfortable pants I have ever owned. The integrated belt makes them fit perfectly for any situation. They work great for hiking and backpacking, but they are also great for every day wear and just hanging out. They have just the right amount of stretch to allow full motion. I have since bought another pair of the same pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pants Quality item and now my go-to favorite pants. Well made and i love the zip pockets. Belt can be taken out and you can use your own but i like the way it came. I like the fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Basically, yoga pants for men I wear pants all year because I have absolutely no time for sunburns and slapping at blackflies when I'm out, so pants that don't turn into a greenhouse when it's 85 out are a key piece of kit for me. These caught my eye, and after a solid week of thrashing them in the mountains, I feel like I can give a reasonable review of them. Starting with the good, they are easily the most breathable and flexible pants I own without question. They do a respectable job of resisting water and wind as well, and are reasonably durable. Their geometry is well thought out, pockets are in smart places, and the integrated belt actually seems to work alright compared to competitive products. I REALLY like that it's removable too in case you need something with more holding power. I do have a two minor critiques of them though. For one, they seem to really like holding onto dirt. Spill pizza on your lap like I did? Get ready to scrub real hard. As for the pockets, another review pointed out, the thin fabric has a habit of showing everyone whats in your pockets in fantastic detail. It was completely right, to the point where I stopped carrying anything substantial in my pack. I attribute this partly to the fact that the pocket isn't free floating like many are, but fully sewn. Finally, they run shorter than my other MH pants. I'm a 33 leg and often wear a 32 from MH because of the cut. These in a 32 were just a bit high water, and 34 are a good length with boots, especially with the drawcord in the cuffs. All in all, I'm pretty happy with the Chockstones. There's a couple of little things that do annoy me a bit, but if you need to fill a hole in your gear closet with a very light weight softshell pant that is equally at home in a harness as it is with a backpack or even on a short trail run, I feel it's awfully hard to go wrong with these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW I must admit, I was somewhat skeptical about purchasing these pants...... my skepticism was clearly ruled out the first time I tried them on. The Mens Chockstone Hiking Pants are as advertised. the pants are lightweight, durable & offer flexibility. I could not be more pleased. I even like the belt that comes with them as it clearly is adjustable assisting with proper fit. Thanks Mountain Hardware!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needed a hiking pant. I was looking for a functional pant for my routine hikes in the mountains with my three legged dog, Boone. I was tired of wearing jeans, MK's or my Tru-Specs. Did a lot of searching and ultimately came back to Mountain Hardware true and tested products. The pant fit true to size and was exceptionally comfortable. A little tight in the thighs and groin would be my only complaint. (I go commando and their was some obvious imprinting going on...) The length was perfect and the drawstring efficiently held the pant securely around my boot; which, kept out debris, mud etc. The pant moved well while hiking and were warm enough on a 35 degree day with a 15 mph wind, and cool enough when that temperature doubled. Pocket design is alright, but the close fit of the pant would cause anything stowed to bulge. I like them and will most likely get another pair.
