Men's BoundarySeeker™ Jacket is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great jacket I wasn't sure I would like this jacket when I ordered it online. After wearing it for a few weeks, it's my favorite jacket for late winter, spring. The only thing that I don't like is the length. The length is a little long for my liking but it works well for those spring ski days.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Has everything to make me love it, but the fit was awkward Perfect aggressive use backcountry ski coat with top quality stretch hardshell and all the right zippers and pockets. My grip is the fit. I am 6'2", 185#, "skier build" (bigger legs and rear, biceps not so much). I usually fit a medium in everything, including the MH hardshell bibs I absolutely love. Fit on this jacket is too loose, a little like a trash bag. Maybe that is for true outer layer (over heavy mid-layer) or maybe that is snowboard-chic inspired, but it doesn't work for me. Which I regret, because everything else was awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For what it is its amazing This is NOT your bomb proof 3L Gortex jacket that you take to K2... what this IS is a sweet ski shell. This is my 3 Mtn.HW dedicated ski shell and I love it. Now its not as durable as the Snowtastic or the SyncoX or old but its amazingly breathable. Other reviewers have claimed that it is not wind or water proof... Well... mine is. As for major wet down pours - I have a rain jacket for that and honestly don't ski when its raining. I've used this for about 30 days this season ... half have been storm days... loved it. It is a lighter material... all the NeoShell is... but its stretchy, light and so incredibly comfortable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Jacket When our ski program decided to use these jackets I was keen as I had great success with a pair of MtnHardwear pants years ago. This shell is not remotely waterproof. As coaches we are out in all weather all day. The rain comes right through. When it is cold and windy, the wind comes right through so yes it breathes ... you can feel the air breathing on you. At any cost this jacket is useless as it does nothing that you are paying for. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very weak fabric This jacket has all the features you'd expect at a $600 price point for a Winter ski jacket. How ever at any price point it's durability is a complete fail. I ride an average of 50+ days a season and have been exclusive and loyal to Mountain Hardwear for the last five years and their jackets have been great until this one. By day two the coat has holes ripped trough the outer layer where the fabric lies over the zippers for the pockets. Day Two! Seriously?! How can a ski jacket fabric be so weak that it wears down at pressure points over its own zippers in two days? If this is any indication of the durability of this jacket than it is certainly not worth the price. It's only a matter of time before water will be penetrating now. A ski jacket should be durable and tough and able to last at least a season without having holes in it. I had over 100 days in my Hellgate jacket before the fabric wore out. I would not recommend this jacket. Maybe they can reissue and fix the fabric at a later time but for now, unless all you want is a stylish ski jacket with no function, don't buy this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ski coat It was my first time up skiing with the new coat and the mountain was not in a kind mood. There was heavy rain, ice pellets, and 25-30 mph winds. It was the perfect weather to test the limits of my gear. The Boundary Seeker held up very well. My under layers stayed completely dry after over 4 hours in these wonderful conditions. I’m very pleased with this coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super functional This jacket fits great and feels great. Neoshell is an awesome product. It stretches better and breaths better than Gore-Tex and is still fully waterproof. This jacket has been thought out well. It’s great for snowboard/skiing. The drop pockets are perfect, zippers work well, the hood is very adjustable, the draw cords work well, and the hand pockets are nice to have. There is enough space to fit layers underneath, even a down jacket, and it somehow doesn’t look too baggy on its own. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best jacket I ever owned Love this jacket. Fits perfectly and moves really well with me. many features and pockets. If need be you can get a lot of ventilation through it. The pit zip don't stick and are easy to open one handed. I'm 6 feet tall 190 lbs (wider in shoulders and back) and wear a large (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)
