Great casual pantsI have two pairs of MH's "regular" AP Pants (requires a belt) that I purchased for casual office wear---for which I wrote a review over a year ago. I primarily liked them due to their "baggy-less" appearance and easy care. I recently retired...so as an alternate to denim jeans, I purchased this "Scrambler" version as a more casual version---hoping that they performed similar to the AP Pants. Simply put, I was not disappointed as MH hit it "out of the ballpark" with the AP Scrambler! Like the AP, they are a slimmer (not skinny!) cut trousers, that looks great with an untucked t-shirt or a button down shirt. These work out great for a hike with the dog....followed by an "end of the day" dinner out with the wife. I really wish more hiking pants were cut similarly to these!

34" inseam would earn 5*I own 2 pairs of the AP pants (size 33x34, I'm 6'1" 190 lbs) and 2 pairs of the shorts. All four are snug in the thigh, maybe a little too snug. Even still, I get buddies consistently asking me where I got these britches.
Unfortunately, the scrambler AP only come in 32" inseam. I'm concerned they may end up as high waters after their first wash.
The drawstring waist band and the 2 thigh pockets are a great upgrade compared the original AP pants.
