Rated 5 out of 5 by from These pants rock I love these pants. They’re equally at home in the office, on the trail, or around town. I recently took them on a trip to the Middle East and they performed very well. Super durable and comfortable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from baggy fit I didn't like the fit from the waist down to mid thigh...way too loose with a long crotch. It doesn't have a belt so keeping them up would have been a problem. Just not my style of pants

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid do everything pants The material is heavy duty enough for any outdoor activity but still comfortable enough to just lounge around. Good use of pockets and the fit is modern. I am a size 36 and the fit is spot on, although if you want some extra room I would go up a size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants that could be improved I like these pants. I like how Mountain Hardware is willing to try something a little different. The elastic waist is wonderful. The fit is great. While loaded with technical features, they're subtle. They are slimmer than traditional technical pants. The fabric, while stretchy, is stiffer than a lot of lightweight technical pants. To me, this means they look more professional. I work in a business casual environment and can wear them to work and they blend right in with chinos and jeans. I like the discreet cargo pockets. The technical features are great too. The articulated knees means you have all the freedom of motion you need from the knee down. I like the mesh hip and rear pockets and the material is water resistant and quick drying. The stretchy material is great for maneuverability. The fit is true. If you like a little room in your pants, try ordering a size up. The elastic and drawstring waist means you can play around in the sizes. The only thing keeping me from buying five more pairs is the crotch. Because they are slimmer fitting, range of motion in the crotch is limited. The addition of a crotch gusset would make these perfect for me. I wouldn't mind another full-jogger version with elastic cuffs as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hiking and travel pant Flattering cut and extremely comfortable. I love the waistband as it affords some stretch. Might be too hot for the summer here in Nor Cal, but so are most durable pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort & style Love these pants for my weekly trek's to the Black Canyon National Park and my senior community care transport job that I'm kneeling in buses & van's to load wheelchair patients!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweatpants You Can Wear to the Office I bought these as a pair of everyday pants, that were comfortable enough to hike and be active in. These did not disappoint at all and I found myself wearing them into the office after commuting and they doubled as workwear when I was too lazy to change. If you want the comfort of wearing sweatpants to work, but the self respect not to actually do so, these are the pants for you. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great casual pants I have two pairs of MH's "regular" AP Pants (requires a belt) that I purchased for casual office wear---for which I wrote a review over a year ago. I primarily liked them due to their "baggy-less" appearance and easy care. I recently retired...so as an alternate to denim jeans, I purchased this "Scrambler" version as a more casual version---hoping that they performed similar to the AP Pants. Simply put, I was not disappointed as MH hit it "out of the ballpark" with the AP Scrambler! Like the AP, they are a slimmer (not skinny!) cut trousers, that looks great with an untucked t-shirt or a button down shirt. These work out great for a hike with the dog....followed by an "end of the day" dinner out with the wife. I really wish more hiking pants were cut similarly to these!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 34" inseam would earn 5* I own 2 pairs of the AP pants (size 33x34, I'm 6'1" 190 lbs) and 2 pairs of the shorts. All four are snug in the thigh, maybe a little too snug. Even still, I get buddies consistently asking me where I got these britches. Unfortunately, the scrambler AP only come in 32" inseam. I'm concerned they may end up as high waters after their first wash. The drawstring waist band and the 2 thigh pockets are a great upgrade compared the original AP pants.
