Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Warm !! Great for super cold weather, used for winter camping in -10 degrees and I had no issue with warmth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best subzero bag I've had This kept me and my water bottles nice and comfortable on top of Avalanche Gulch on My Shasta. I've never had a better night'ssleep outside below zero.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great below zero bag. I absolutely love this bag. I work outside in Alaska so figured I should get a bag that could handle the cold. I'm 6'6" so I got the long and I fit pretty well in it. The mummy design of the bag contours well to my body and minimizes the extra space you don't need. After using this bag for a few months in 10° to -40 I definitely agree with the temperature rating. The sleeping bag stayed warm consistently until I crossed -30° where I had to throw a warm Nalgene in to keep my toes warm all night, but it still held up great to that point. My only concern with this bag was the sinch cord for the hood. I don't like that that it's on the outside since in those cold temps it can make it a little difficult. Other then that the bag performed great and I'm excited to see how it handles my Denali trip this year. I would recommend this product to anyone planning on staying out in subzero temps.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Bag But With Flaws Size is true to advertisement. Loft is great. It is nice and cushiony. It rebounds quickly when hung up. And is great with water accidents. Retaining warmth when wet and drying quickly. This has been a life saver when I have messed up and my bag has gotten wet or soaked or just being washed. Cleans is nice and simple the loft and shell seem resistant to oder. Warmth is good but not quite as advertised. I would rate this bag between 0 and -10 instead of -30. I have to compensate with wearing clothes and using fleece blankets. The biggest issue is the zipper. It is a nightmare. From the first day I got my bag the zipper been an issue almost always taking over a half hour and sometimes an hour to zip up. Often times I gave up leaving the bag partially zipped or unzipped due to the nightmare zipper. Now after several months of always fighting with the zipper it locked up completely. Neither me nor a friend could get it to budge. We resorted to forcing it and the zipper metal threading ripped apart instead of coming loose. Would I recommend this bag to others? No, no matter how good a bag is, if the zipper is worthless than it is all wasted. If you can't close the bag than your losing all your precious warmth out the side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blazin' Hot! Very warm and comfy. Used this specific one for the first time on a weekend kayaking and camping trip way up north. Temps weren't too cold (maybe high 30s) but it made a great comforter while I slept directly on my sleeping pad with all the vents in my tent open and a leg out to stay cool :-) That being said, I've used the exact same bag from my local rental shop in the dead of winter in the Idaho mountains and it's amazing. Hence my decision to purchase one of my own. Down to well below zero, you stay warm and toasty. The extra room in the mummy cut is great for sleeping with an extra layer on. It actually packs down small enough for winter backpacking, though it's just a tad heavy. Would recommend to anyone who hates being cold.
