Lamina™ Z Blaze -15°F / -26°C Sleeping Bag is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winter and high altitude WARMTH!!! I purchased a left and right zip for my wife and I for winter expeditions but we were on a budget. For the price, these are the warmest sleeping bags but not the lightest. They are pretty heavy compared to my 800+ down, 15 degree bags but that's expected at this price. We tested them out in 20 degree weather with relatively high humidity. The moisture never seeped in the bags and they stayed warm even when damp. The draft tube on the zipper is huge and super warm, especially since we had two bags zipped together. The extra insulation in the feet area kept us toasty all night too and at times we had to unzip the bags because we were to warm. Also, there is so much insulation space from your face to air, my nose never got cold. That was a first for me at 20 degrees. Contrary to how I view all temperature ratings as a suggestion and the mantra "you'll live but you won't be comfortable", these may actually keep you comfortable near -15. Only negative, the phone pocket (I use my phone as a GPS and camera) is on the outside of the insulation and it got too cold in this position. For a below freezing bag, it would make more sense to have a bigger pocked on the inside of the bag for a water bottle and phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cold weather bag I have used this bag once so far for what I hoped would be winter camping. The weather ended up being wet and slightly above freezing, but even after going to bed damp the warmth of this bag dried me off. It packs large (taking up half of my backpack) so it is probably best suited for car camping or short trips. But it is quite comfortable and has more room than your average bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lamina Z Blaze -15F (yellow) About a month ago I purchased the Lamina Z Blaze sleeping bag with the rating of -15F, Regular Size with left handed zipper. I did a lot of research on finding a 4 season sleeping bag that could keep me warm in the winter but yet also could be compacted enough to strap over a dirt bike for road trips. When i bought the sleeping bag it came in a large mountain hard wear bag and also a mountain hard wear compression sac, so it came with two seperate packing bags. The sleeping bag packed up in the compression sac is about the size of a large watermelon, it does size down pretty well. For the actually sleeping bag itself I am truly impressed with its technology. I live in rocky mountains of Colorado and I've been camping 3 times this December all of which have been well under 32F I remember one of the nights it was around 10F outside and I was actually warmer in my sleeping bag then I was standing by the fire. The most recent time I used my bag It was about 14F and I slept in just my boxers and was warm all night with no problems. My girlfriend used two average sleeping bags and blankets and she said she was freezing most of the night. From what I've read about many sleeping bags people seem to have problems with the zipper catching on their sleeping bag I've had zero problems with the zipper on this bag. I also find the head cover on the sleeping bag to be very useful big enough to use almost as a pillow. This bag really is impressive and i would 100% buy this product again. Thank you Mountain Hard Wear for making high quality products very impressed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm and comfortable Well designed and constructed, though the weight makes it more suitable for car camping than alpine climbing. I am short (5'6") with broad shoulders, and the shoulder girth is perfect but there are 12" of dead space at the foot of the bag. Please make shorter versions of your wide bags in the future, to reduce weight and excess space that can create a cold zone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bag Bought it just in time for a snow camping trip. It was only 8 degrees (well above the rating), but I had to unzip and let some air in. It worked as promised and comfortable as could be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and Toasty Got this sleeping bag for my girlfriend to use in Oregon's backcountry during the winter months. We will be testing it out soon at crater lake during our snowshoeing trip. Upon initial inspection it looks to be made of high quality materials that you would expect from Mountain Hardwear. Bring on the winters!!
