Juggernaut™ 45 is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could have been perfect A very well constructed carry-on bag with good components and internal pouches. Sadly, the bag does not stand upright +80% of the time, which if you are working your way through an airport makes this product quite useless. I want to return b/c its just too frustrating to pay this price and have this design issue. Adding to my frustration, i've talked to MH twice on the matter and they have not been very friendly about defect or working with me to resolve.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish and cool Love this piece of carry-on luggage and looking forward to using on my first trip. It's the perfect size for a 2-3 day trip in my opinion. It would be hard to pack much more than that in this bag. The wheels are impressively smooth and glide quietly. Feels very durable, and I don't have any worries tossing it around.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice bag, but has serious flaws The bag is very durable, rolls smoothly and easily, and has fit in every overhead compartment I've tried so far. It packs nicely for a three day trip and will even work for a week long trip if traveling light. It is sleek and looks great as well. However, there are a couple of major issues that make me go out of my way to discourage folks from this bag. I have the newest version, and it simply will not stand up by itself when loaded. Nothing is worse than being rushed through security and needing to pull out tickets and ID and you can't even let go of your bag without it crashing to the floor. If you pack it perfectly, it may stand up, but forget it if you have a laptop in the front pocket or haven't packed it with heavier items at the bottom. By the way, when it falls, your laptop takes the brunt of the fall. Secondly, the outer pocket has a mesh interior compartment that is right next to the zipper, and I find it almost impossible to open the pocket without the zipper catching in the mesh. Again, imagine having to take out your laptop at security and being unable to quickly open the bag to remove it because your have to pull the mesh out of the zipper. I've caused several hold-ups in line because of this issue. That said, I will continue to use it since I have it, and I've learned to just turn the bag around and let it rest on my legs or a wall when I need to let go of the handle. I'm considering just cutting out the outer pocket mesh compartment, and possibly find a way to add some length to the two vertical feet so it will stand up. It looks like MW has discontinued all roller bags, but if they had a newer one that fixed these issues, I'd surely try to send it back and get it replaced with an updated version.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome bag This bag is super sturdy and bomb-proof. I have been traveling with it for over 8 years throughout Alaska and to the Lower48. it is my carry-on bag and it has been through everything and is solid and together. I really love it and would highly recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from super rad travel buddy I recently purchased this bag and I've been very happy with it. I travel a lot for bike racing and wanted a well-made hearty travel bag with wheels and I think I found the best one. The size is good since I'm a pretty light packer and all the compartments make organizing easy. It does tend to tip over on it's front when fully loaded so I just make sure to lean it against a wall and this is why it only gets 4 stars out of five. Overall, great travel companion! well done, Mountain Hardwear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable and functional I used this bag for 2 straight years of traveling on commercial airlines nearly every month and it not only survived intact but it is still my go to travel bag. The zippers are strong and easy to close even when you pack it slightly past capacity. And I love that the wheels are larger than normal roller bags too making dashing through the airport or balancing other bags on top much easier. All around Great bag.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't stand up when loaded, poor stitching I am very disappointed with the design and the construction quality of this luggage. The bag looked fantastic in the store, filled with a big, inflated plastic bag. The big wheels roll smoothly, and the capacity is comparable to other carry-on wheelies I looked at (and more than sufficient for my needs). At home, however, when I load my clothes in the bag, it will not stand upright. As soon as I let go of the handle, the bag falls over onto its front -- the very place MHW advertises I could store a laptop or tablet. The placement and size of the tiny front feet do not allow the bag to balance when loaded with anything more than an inflated plastic bag for display. Worse, is that after just one trip the main zipper started coming off near the top of the bag (when standing up). The stitching holding on the zipper is minimal, and not a heavy weight thread. It appears to have broken during my first trip. The stitching has pulled out completely leaving a 3 inch gap, and more stitching is loose. The bag was not overfilled. I travel light, and this bag is larger than the one I was replacing, so there was no strain on the zipper. To MHW's credit, the customer support person I spoke with was courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. He quickly arranged for me to ship the bag back for repair or replacement. I'm impressed with MHW's support. :) Nevertheless, a very expensive piece of luggage should be very well engineered, and the Juggrenaut 45 is not. Therefore, I have rated it poorly, and wish I had not purchased it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great piece of luggage, but I like previous version better Over all this is a great piece of luggage. Very versatile and perfect for travel. I own this and the previous version. My better half uses this version. The pictured item here is slightly incorrect since the bag has compression straps on the exterior which are great. The reason I personally like the previous version is the interior compression piece similar to the inner compartment of the splitter 38 back which I also own and is my other travel piece. You can not go wrong with this travel luggage, but if you can pick up the previous one I would go with that. Either way you will have an awesome bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best piece of luggage I have ever owned My wife, daughter and I just returned from a trip to Jamaica and we purchased these bags prior leaving. We were able to pack everything for the three of us (except for snorkeling gear)in these two bags for 8 days worth of travel. Everything about them works flawlessly; the wheels, handle zippers etc. The compartments are laid out in a very user friendly and intuitive way. Love em!
