Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality I love the feel of this belt. Good quality buckle and webbing. The width is perfect. I like the wider webbing instead of the narrow webbing like most belts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stays Tight Like A Belt Should This belts holds my pants up and stays consistently tight. It tightens and loosens easily and quickly. The webbing is tough and lightweight. The buckle is durable and simple. And the bottle opener works as advertised. I ended up trimming my belt by about five inches and melting the edges with a lighter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality Soon after purchase the belt fabric frayed on both sides of the end that feeds through the buckle. When threading through the buckle the edge must rub against the too sharp edge of the metal. I sent a photo to customer service and they gave me 2 choices: 1. burn it with a candle to stop further fraying or 2. send it back with a warranty claim which they would decide later. I expect more from MH.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great functional belt with a great bottle opener When I went shopping for some new belts, I wanted a web belt with a no hole buckle that was 46"+ and possibly had some other function. I ended up buying the Hardwear AP belt and Patagonia Tech Web belt. Both had the specifications I wanted plus both buckles function as bottle openers. Both are great belts and I'm sure you can read many reviews on both, so I'll focus on a part few speak of the belt buckle bottle openers. I did my testing with a couple 6 packs of IPA. While both bottle openers functioned, I found the AP belt to be easier to use when still looped on my waist. The length of the belt is slightly longer and easier to manipulate. The Web Tech belt you actually have to flip the buckle to use it as a opener making is slightly less handle able and I spilled more beer in the process. The only thing I had to get use to was the flap of the belt being on the other side of my body. No big deal after a while. I ended up ordering two more AP belts in saddle and cyber green. I've already suggested this belt to a friend. It's a great piece of gear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Size matters! Writing this review mostly to provide info lacking on the product page. Does anyone care that this belt weighs 3.3 oz? Probably not. Do they care that the belt is 1.5 in. wide and 47 in. long? Almost certainly. In addition to material, width and length are the most important specs to know about a belt! Quality of the webbing is quite good. I haven't noticed any particular issues with slippage of the buckle as of yet. The buckle's a little different than most - when you're feeding the belt back through the buckle on the second/final pass, you have to bend the webbing to get both sides into the slots. Very difficult to describe with words, but a picture of the buckle without the webbing passed through would make it clear, so I've included one in this review. In the product picture, the piece of the buckle (the cross-piece on the right, not the piece where the webbing is permanently attached) that is obscured by the webbing is not a simple flat piece. There is a section that juts into the opening on the right, sort of like the next line rotated counter-clockwise 90 degrees (I'm not going to try any fancy ASCII art). --\__/-- The section that sticks out is the part that goes under the edge of bottle cap to pry it off. The end of the belt is rounded. If you cut it because it's too long for you, you'll probably want to melt the end so it doesn't fray.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The last belt/bottle opener you will ever buy!!!! This belt is amazing! My life has totally change since owning this belt!! I can now open bottles where ever I go without having to carry a bottle opener with me. You do need to warn people before hand when you are taking off your belt to open a bottle for them. It's one size fits all, otherwise you can just cut it and burn off the end with a lighter for that custom fit. Much WOW!!
