Great ground cloth, but zero fast-pitch functionalityI have used the Ghost UL 2 tent in many scenarios, and it’s a great tent; I gave it 5 stars. But the foot print, in my opinion, is a waste of $60. There are far more affordable options that you can custom fit.
It’s made of excellent fabric, durable with reinforced stitching at all the stake points.
But it has zero fast-pitch capability. There is no way to affix the fly to the apex joint without the tent body(or it’s clip).
I was really hoping to shave weight and have a “ultra light” option with this, and it’s nothing more than a reinforced floor for the tent.
I own, and love, many other MH products. This current pairing(2017 model yrs) is lacking if they want to compete in the ultralight category.

Foot fits, tent is excellentI used this tent on a 25 day backpacking trip through California's Eastern Sierras and loved it every night. It's super light, which is perfect for a solo trip, but it also held up to rain and hail and all kinds of wet weather, which I appreciated. On the craziest night, it did get a little damp inside, but it's really thin so it dried out quick when I set it up the next night. Would recommend! Might be a tight fit for two, but probably still excellent.

Great stuffI love a good footprint, and this is exactly what you need for the Ghost. The tent itself is thin enough for me to be twitchy about setting up in imperfect territory, so the foot print is essential just for that peace of mind. And it's light too!
