Compulsion™ OutDry® Glove is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from best all-mountain glove by MH so far While these gloves fit slightly smaller they are leather and do stretch in minimal time. I'm typically between a small and medium with MH gloves. I tried both the large and medium sizes in the Compulsion gloves. They both seemed form fitting and honestly felt about the same in terms of palms and finger lengths with the large being a tad bigger. I could have went with the large but bought the medium instead. After 1 ski day they were stretched and created a perfect form to my hand. As such, they do take a little more effort to take on and off while on the fly. Perhaps next iteration could provide stretch panels around the wrists to provide easier on/off. Keep the wrist length( or slightly longer) however, as gauntlet-style gloves aren't compatible with most of todays jackets. The fact that they are so well endowed with leather/lining its only a matter of time that the leather is stretched and the lining is compressed to your grip. Once it's formed to your measurements....they're dialed! They are super warm with lots of leather and faux-fur lining inside to keep hands warm. Waterproofing is excellent. Breathability takes a slight backseat due to the leather construction, thus hands build up slight internal humidity over several hours of shredding POW. If you typically wear a size medium I would not be afraid to buy them based on previous reviews. Yes, at first they do seem tight but even with on/off attempts in the house you will begin to notice the leather expanding. I shred PNW snow non-stop, all week (or as much as I can). I've put about 80+ hours of ski time on the Compulsion gloves. They're pretty rad all around with improvements needed only in the wrist area, i.e. stretch and length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from To small Way to small. I'm a large. Ordered a large and returned them. No XL in stock. They looked super nice though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Compulsion OutDry Gloves Not sure what happened when these gloves were made but the sizes are extremely off. I ordered a size up from what my son normally wears and he couldn't begin to get his hand in them. When I checked on exchanging them for a larger size they were unavailable. Next step would be a refund, but will we be able to trust the glove sizes from this point on????

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another home run I have what I believe is the predecessor to these gloves called the snowtastic. I was thrilled with them so I decided to grab another pair of MHW gloves. To my surprise, these gloves are even more warm and burly. Let me be clear about this and many of the other MHW gloves... don't buy a glove without outdry! The waterproof liner setup that many manufacturers use is far inferior to the outdry laminated technology. The glove doesn't experience the wet-out that others do. IT'S NOT A GIMMICK! The insulation in these gloves is soft and supple and even warmer than my last pair. In the past I wore mittens with hand warmer pockets in temps below 25 or so. These gloves have been more than warm into the teens with high winds and freezing rain. Im writing this review because I'm about to buy a second pair. That good... period! You'd be hard pressed to find another glove that comes close. These gloves handle the harshness of Vermont and are about to be put to the test across Canada's powder highway. Cheers!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Medium too small Great glove, but the medium was too small for my hand. I'm 5'10" with medium/large hands.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Order a Size Up Ordered a large, which I wear in the MH Jalapeno Glove, but it was to small for me. Order a size up. Leather is supple and construction is top notch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gloves Ordered these and immediately put them to use to 12,000 feet on Taos. They kept my hands warm all day. Sometimes they are a little hard to get on if your hands start to sweat, but that wouldn't keep me from recommending them to anyone, as that's normal. The inside of them is cozy and the outside is durable...that's all I can ask for. Taos was just a test, and now I plan on using these for my main ascent gloves on the highest peak in Europe later this Spring.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing at best I can wear a medium glove but usually go with a large. Based on the reviews I went with an XL but it is very tight with almost no room at the fingertips. MH needs to be more forthright on the sizing. These are really mis made. In addition, the insulation is not what I would expect from MHs warmest glove. I own MH dragon claw gloves and I would say they have much more insulation. Returning and wish I wasn't stuck now with return shipping cost for what is clearly a sizing defect.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too darn small I bought the XL and they fit about two sizes too small and thats a bit weird. I usually wear an XL or XXL. Feels like a good glove, soft and warm on the inside, but I will be returning mine as MH does not make an XXL in gloves apparently.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Try Before You Buy Based on the other reviews from people who said these fit true to size or maybe slightly small I decided to purchase a pair of larges sight unseen. When they arrived I found that they were much too small. I have gone between mediums and larges for quite a while and lately have been going with the large size more often than not. These gloves do not run slightly small... they run very small. The large gloves I received fit like many other companies smalls. They're not just tight (low volume) the fingers are also much too short. Tight gloves equal cold hands... so though I haven't been able to use these I'm sure they will not be adequately warm as they are sized much too tight. FYI... these are so small I'm not even sure an XL would fit. I'm 6'1" and 155lbs... not a huge person. Buy at your own risk!
