Reviews

Bozeman™ Torch 0°F / -17°C Sleeping Bag is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good price You definitely want the tall if you’re 6’0 or taller. Good width and previous reviews about the zipper sticking are correct. The stuff sack is a bit small and challenging to store/transport. Good warmth at 40 degrees. Given the difficulty in finding wider mummy bags I would recommend this bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bozeman Torch go to bag The Bozeman Torch is an excellent sleeping bag in all conditions. I’m on a fire crew and we use this bag as we travel throughout the U.S. it stuffs down nicely and in a snap pull it out and climb in and you’re comfortable. Even in the colder temps down to 17 degrees it was warm. When it gets too hot in the summer it works great as a blanket. I have these bags at home as well for camping. Gottta have the best for the family too. Great sleeping bag!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Sleeping bag I wasn't sure if I was going to order this bag or not but I did and I am very glad I did so. I used it twice now for just 1 night trips up in the Linville Gorge Wilderness and it kept me extremely warm and was unbelievably comfortable. Loved this bag and if you're on the fence about it, do it because it's completely worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spring/Fall Bag I used this bag for 2 seasons as a wildland firefighter and loved it. Super comfortable for Spring and early Fall, but I would recomend a thicker bag if your getting into the mid 30s.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed I am a wildland firefighter so I spend most of my summers sleeping in the field. I have used many different bags over the years and this is by far my favorite. The large toe box and wide shoulders provide plenty of room while the bag still maintains warmth. I just spent two weeks sleeping in the bag every night on the Klamath National Forest. Every night everything got soaking wet including my bag. However, I stayed dry and warm inside night after night. I have also used it on winter moto-camping trips and have yet to get cold. Highly recommend. One down side... the zipper catches, A LOT, and is kinda a pain. The pros outweigh this one con for me though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Personal Furnace The Bozeman sleeping bag is fantastic for alpine camping, it keeps you warm all night and it packs down to an acceptable size. It is a little bigger than I thought but that is not a bad thing. We recently camped on Mount Adams before summiting, the weather was around 9 degrees but I was toasty warm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bozeman Torch The sleeping bag itself certainly kept me warm and it fits quite well. Only struggle I had with the bag was getting the zipper all the way closed. I ended up having to hold the fabric around the zipper with one hand and zip with the other. Not quite the easiest thing to do in a sleeping bag. Overall, however, I do like the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag for a fair price I've used this bag a few times so far, comfortably down to -11C (wearing a baselayer of long underwear/socks). The bag is great quality and the first mummy I've used. I'm 5'7'' and the fit is pretty good, I can use the hood to hold my pillow or slide up into the bag to have the hood cover my head better. Bonus, if you camp with your SO, you can zip a left hand and right hand model together for some extra warmth. My only complaint so far is that the zipper seems to bind on the interior fabric now and then.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice warmth, terrible zipper I have found the bag warm and the size fine. I have slept in the bag for at least 60 nights since buying it. The fabric on the inside is nice except that when one tries to turn over inside the bag, the fabric clings to you. My other complaint, and this is the big one, is that the zipper constantly gets snagged. Fighting with a zipper in the middle of the night is not my idea of a well made bag. I continue to use the bag, but realize that the zipper is going to be a constant issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just like it says! This bag performs exactly like it says it will. For the price it is fairly light and keeps you very warm in lower temperatures. I slept in bare feet and minimal clothing, and was toasty all night long. I will have to agree with another review that the zipper is a little sticky, but not to the point where it made it overly difficult to zip up. All in all this is a well performing bag.
