BACKPACKING TENTS
Find backpacking tents for your next thru-hike or first camping trip. We have well-equipped one-person shelters, two-person tents, and three-person tents with room for you, your sleeping bag, and all of your essential gear. They’re lightweight, up to seven pounds, yet are built to withstand the unrelenting wind with sturdy, strong frames. Compactible, yet durable materials like nylon ripstop, polyester, and taffeta feature polyurethane coatings to help resist rain and snow. Use our rainflies and covers to adjust your vestibule arrangement and keep your boots, packs, and pets out of the elements—so mud and moisture stay where they belong. Mesh walls keep air flowing and bugs at bay.

Our hiking tents are easy to assemble even if you’re new to camping. We make pinnacle products that are accessible to all, including the Optic 2.5 tent. The Optic Collection is based around 180-degree views, because you didn't hike all that way to look at the inside of your tent. The unique design features doors on adjoining sides that roll back and expose huge views, so you won’t miss a meteor or wildlife visit.

Counting every single ounce? Our Ghost™ UL ultralight tents are ideal for cycling, fast packing, and solo hikes. You won’t have to bare an oversized load with the Ghost™ UL 1 Tent. It’s our lightest one-person shelter, truly freestanding, and features DAC Featherlight™ NSL poles.

In addition to backpacking equipment, we offer six-people tents and expedition shelters for over a dozen people. Complete your list with accessories like tent footprints. Many of our tents have attics and multiple mesh pockets to stow headlamps, provisions, and extra socks up off the ground. Shop our lightweight backpacking tents and feel at home on the trail.
