Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by Functional Jacket I needed a rain-proof shell. This is it. Pros: high quality fabric, taped zippers, AWESOME hood (seriously this is the best hood I've ever had the pleasure of wearing. Cons: pockets are breast height, and I constantly find myself trying to put my hands in my pockets when I'm walking down the street. The main zipper is hard to get started, but not impossible. This is *NOT* an insulated jacket at all. It will NOT keep you warm. You WILL need an insulating layer if you intend to be warm AND dry. Pro/Con: There aren't pit zips. This isn't really a deal breaker for me, per se. The breast pockets are lined in mesh, so you can open them and voila - vents. The problem with that is if you've actually got something in your pockets and nowhere else to stow. The fabric is breathable enough that I didn't feel like I was wearing a trashbag. But seriously, the hood. It's got an intuitive system for adjusting the fit. I have never had such a great fitting hood on a jacket before. December 1, 2014
