Elevation Outdoors Peak Gear Awards Winner Summer 2014

A mid-layer climbing jacket with exceptional warmth and mobility.Though it’s wind and water-resistant enough to wear as a standalone jacket, the Thermostatic's low profile means it excels under a technical outer shell. It has synthetic insulation that’s warm, lightweight, and easy to compress, and a fashion-forward diamond-quilt pattern.

Rated 1 out of 5 by dissapointing material is cheap looking compare to 2012 jacket ,pattern is not feminine in comparison to 2012 wave design, much less room around stomach area in comparison to 2012 design I sent it back, way too expensive for what you are getting May 17, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Warm & light, but zipper gets caught easily I like how light and packable the jacket is. It fits in its own pocket. The lining is soft and comfortable. Small fits me great (5'8", 145#). The only annoying thing about this jacket is how the pocket zipper gets caught so easily. I like to zip open/close my jacket packet a lot, so it gets caught a lot. I'm thinking of returning just because of this, but I think I zip open/close more than a normal person :) By the way, there's no single chest pocket in the women's version. I compared this in store with the Micro Thermostatic jacket. I thought the difference between the two is just how much filling it has, but that is not the case. The inside lining and hem drawcord are different. The lining this is better (softer) than the Micro but the Micro's drawcord is better because it's hidden inside the lining. November 9, 2015
