Reviews

Women's Spinoza™ Jacket 5 5 1 1
near perfect rain shell I have taken this jacket out in rainy weather and in the most humid weather, though I haven't taken it for the long haul--yet. In a torrential downpour I was comfortable and dry. The storm hood is a blessing; it has a nice stiff brim that doesn't sag when soaked. I then wore it in an extremely hot and sticky environment, that is a 2 level-down subway platform. For fifteen minutes-- I decided to test it and not take it off, and it did not contribute to my discomfort at all. It breathes pretty wonderfully, and it rolls into the hood to be about the size of a football-- pretty light and tiny while still having full pit zips and waterproof zippers. The hibiscus color is definitely a bright pink and not a red, but I don't mind it.The zippers are starting to stick less with more use. The only down side is the sizing. I read in reviews that it was on the smaller side (the "active" fit is, supposedly), so I ordered a medium. I am 5"4 and 125 pounds, and it is definitely a little big on me (long arms, long in the butt but actually not a bad thing), and I look forward to the (distant) future where I'll be able to wear layers under it... even then it will probably still be a little big. For now I feel safe and happy knowing I will be comfortable climbing in Colorado and dry exploring the wild/streets of SE Asia... August 6, 2013
