Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Rain Jacket This is my go-to jacket. I originally bought it for backpacking to use in conjunction with my down jacket, as it's light weight and super packable. It's so versatile, I also love it for every day life. I have the cornflower color and my friend (who purchased one after my rave reviews) has the purple; both colors look great. The sleeves are nice and long and can be cinched at the wrist (as can the waist to keep out the cold). I have a size medium (I'm typically a medium) and I tried my friend's small which also fit but I stuck with the medium so I can wear my puffy under it. For being so thin and light, it does a great job reflecting back my heat too. Highly recommended.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Barely Suited for the City I live in Vancouver, BC Canada, and the place has a reputation for rain- for very good reason! It rarely rains hard here, but it can rain for 8+ hours in a day. I had high hopes for this jacket, but it continually let me down. I was alway damp and or sweaty, even after walking a few blocks to the grocery store. I am a fit woman in her late 20's, and sweat an average amount for a woman. The fabric didn't seem to breathe at all. The Dry-Q technology worked poorly and this jacket barely stood up to urban usage. I tried it out on a couple of day hikes, and there is no way I would take it on an expidition or voyage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Zipper not even slightly water resistant Very breathable, good to be active in because it won't hold in your sweat. However I immediately had a wet stripe down the front of my shirt through the zipper. The material and the seams are fantastic and I was in a torrential downpour for hours and it didn't soak through at all. Not sure why they would make such a quality and fairly pricey jacket with such a cheap zipper and not even a stormflap. I bike for a living so I was excited about the breathability of the material but this isn't going to work for me. I will admit that under less extreme circumstances this could be a good jacket for someone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing in Humidity I was a little worried that the jacket didn't have pit-zips, living in a humid climate those have saved my life in the past, but with this jacket I didn't miss them at all! This jacket been on backpacking adventures and out to dinner and it hasn't let me down! Great product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dirt/stains do not come out on white jacket I bought this jacket last week in Sea Salt (white) from a retailer in Oregon. Yesterday, I got a few drops of red wine on the sleeve and immediately rinsed the sleeve off in cool water. The stain didn't come out all the way (left a grey/purple mark), and I also noticed a few streaks of dirt on the front, so I washed it according to the label instructions within 3 hrs of getting wine on the sleeve. Neither the wine stain or the dirt came out all the way - they faded but are still noticeable. I'm really surprised because the fabric is supposed to be waterproof (and weathered a few rain storms just fine), but is very permeable to stains. I would return the jacket if I could, or exchange for a darker color. I'm planning to do another wash with a special detergent made for waterproof fabric, and hope that does the trick. Because of the staining issue, I would not recommend the jacket in white. While it fits well, looks good, and is functional for blocking the rain, I can't do much with a jacket that I can never get dirty. For sizing info, I'm 5'4 /120lbs, and a small fits a little loosely (can easily wear a sweatshirt underneath), which I think is perfect for this style of jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Women's Plasmic Jacket I love this jacket. I bought another black one as well as a cornflower one to replace a black one I lost on an plane from Alaska. It's great for rain, and does not feel sweaty inside and is lightweight/packable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket! Purchased this jacket just before a trip to CO during monsoon season! It kept me dry during a few down pours! My only complaint is the hood fits funny and you can tighten it around your face. Other than that, I love it! I'm 5'5" 120 lbs and the small fits great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Everyday Jacket I ordered this jacket to make it through the "June Gloom" we have in Montana. So far, it has kept me perfectly dry. My only complaint is that it does not feel as breathable as I expected after reading the details and other reviews. The color is beautiful, I got the light blue. Overall, I am really happy I ordered this jacket. Also, I ordered a large because I am tall (5'11'') and other MH products have been too short. On this jacket I think I could have got away with a medium, I swim in the large a little.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for in a jacket Absolutely love my new jacket. It is lightweight and comfortable. I saw this jacket in a store but they only had the small. I ordered it in the medium and it fits perfectly. Love the green color too! I've not had it long and have received compliments on it already. Quality jacket that looks nice! Thank you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Standard rain jacket Was a little surprised by how big this jacket was when it came, but am now thinking it'll be great for colder weather when I might want to layer underneath it. I don't think I'll be able to wear this jacket without the bottom cord tightened up... it's a bit wide otherwise! I wanted a lightweight, simple rain jacket, and that's exactly what this is! I'm sure it'll stand the test of time : )
