Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Snug as a bug! Great bag! Used it in the Sierra late summer and into the fall and was very comfortable in the tent. Just got back from a multi-day hike in the Grand Canyon with night temperatures in the mid-20s. Kept warm even without a tent or bivy sack. I have the women's regular and it fits me (5'2") fine. If you are 5'6" it might be on the small side. Zipper tends to catch which can be frustrating. Otherwise a super bag to keep me warm and comfortable. November 8, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by 800 fill Purple Power! Last weekend, I used this bag sleeping in a tent while it rained, and then for the rest of the weekend, out under the stars on two sleeping pads near Carr Lake and various other lakes in California. This bag was perfectly toasty everywhere except for my hips, where I felt some cold spots just before dawn. Pros: +It packs small (about a Nalgene squared) +It lofted quickly when taken out of the stuffsack +It is light weight +great fitting draft collar when compared to the Laminina 20 Cons: -Zipper gets stuck easily on draft baffel -Condensation/dew on the outside soaked into thin outer fabric and feathers, but was not felt inside. -Narrow cut doesn't allow much wiggle room if you have wider hips. I couldn't reach my socks to remove them unless I unzipped the bottom of the bag. -this color shows dirt easily What I would change: In another iteration, I would like the"feely" drawstrings integrated into the bag, like raincoats have around the hood, so that when you sleep on your left side, the slack isn't hanging into my face. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for backpacking I've only taken this bag on one backpacking trip, but I love it so far. We experienced a range of temperatures that dipped well below freezing a couple of nights, but I was comfortable every night. It was also extremely damp where we were camping, but the dew just sat on top of my bag and did not soak through (I'm talking about a little cold dew, not rain). It packs down surprisingly small and is incredibly light for being such a plush bag. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone camping at higher altitudes. September 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by JMT perfect Perfect bag for sleeping up high. Slept in my underwear on warmer nights and only needed a hat on colder nights. Helped keep my pack weight under 25 pounds! Loved it! September 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Snug as a Bug I took the Phantasia out for a quick, one-night backpacking trip this weekend to give it a test run before taking it out on a longer trip. It packed down small, was lightweight, and kept me toasty warm through the cool night. I'm looking forward to taking it on longer, colder treks later in the year. My one issue with the bag? The color. Why not make women's equipment in gray or black or the other basic colors that men get to enjoy? I almost passed on the bag initially because of the color, but the great technical aspects of it overruled. October 8, 2014
