Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lightweight jacket I wanted a light weight jacket that would be pack-able for hiking, etc, but fairly warm. This is a great jacket- comfy and warm, especially with the hood on. I had another one for years and loved it. The zipper design has improved and pretty color!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket for a discounted price! I bought this jacket at a discounted price on black Friday and have been thoroughly pleased with it for the most part. The small was a bit too big, but the x-small fit just right with enough room to layer underneath (something I always consider when buying a jacket, I'm 5'5 110lbs). I have noticed some feathers from the down fill coming out but nothing major. It is a warm jacket when layered with something in below freezing temps and a nice, lightweight jacket for cool temps. The hood doesn't get in the way when not is use and the the whole thing easily compresses into a small roll you can pop in your bag when you don't need it. Quality seems pretty good, but I would not pay $260 for it considering the down that's coming out of the jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Live in it now I love this jacket. I have worn it every day since I got it. I live in southern California, but it's been a little cold at night and in the mornings and my co-workers love to crank the A/C at work, so I wear it at my desk too. It's light weight, super warm and I'm a small but can fit layers easily underneath it. At first, I thought that I should have gotten an XS, but the small is good because I can layer and still be comfy. I go to the mountains a lot and am super excited to add this to my puffy collection and it's perfect for wearing to dinner, or popping around town, under my ski jacket. I love love love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, light puffy This jacket is surprisingly warm for being so thin and light. I live in northern Wisconsin and have been meltingly warm in this jacket with just a fleece vest and T underneath in single digit temps while snowshoeing and hiking. Nice hood. I wear a L in every other Mountain Hardwear thing I own (that's a fair amount of gear) but it was too snug with a fleece under so I went up to XL. Length in XL is slightly too long but I'm getting used to it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bright blue "Bright bluet" = periwinkle blue. If you're not a fan of purple, try another color.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sizing is off After a month of searching for the perfect down jacket I settled on this one. However I wish I would have paid more attention to the reviews. I usually wear a 4-6 or medium top. However I ordered a medium and it was huge. Very loose around the body and bust. I exchanged it for a small only to be more disappointed. The small was much more fitted in the body but the shoulders were extremely tight. I could not lift both arms straight forward at the same time. Additionally when I had my arms by my side the seams in the armpits dug into me. I don't have gaint shoulders or arms. The fit on this jacket is way off. Ended up returning the small and looking for a different jacket. Super bummed. The blue color was beautiful and the material felt pretty good. It seemed warm but I was never really able to wear it as the fit was so off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Carried this for 2 years Im retired from the National Park Service, and my wife and I have been traveling for several years in Asia and South America. We need to carry everything, and it needs to cover climates from dry/wet/hot/cold, and weight & packed size are important to us. Our pile jackets worked & could be worn with a rain jacket, but this is lighter, warmer, and packs much smaller. Some people are surprised that we even carry down in the tropics, but with just a bit of care, I've never soaked a down jacket or down sleeping bag completely, and we needed this in somewhat high altitudes (up to 16,000 feet) in the Himalayas and Andes. I've never used anything that's as warm, light, and packs as small as this jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sweet layer I admit I expected this jacket to be thicker/heavier, but when they say excellent warmth to weight ratio, they mean it! I love this for under my outer layer while snowboarding, I also wear it out to walk the dog when it's not raining-it keeps me warm with zero chill all the way down to near freezing temps. Super lightweight but still very cozy!
