Rated 2 out of 5 by Ugly pocket I have not purchased this jacket mostly because I do not like the look of the pocket. It's great it has a packet but why put the different color and material on the pocket? Distracting. March 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great jacket! I bought this jacket for my 14 year old daughter and it is great! The blue/gray color is beautiful, the fleece is thick and super cosy, and the fit is flattering. She is petit at 5'0 with an athletic build and the XS fits perfectly. December 30, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not as good as it used to be I've owned 2 of the older 'non streamlined' Monkey Woman 200 jackets and loved them. Not slim fitting, able to layer underneath and fit true to size. The new MW 200 just isn't the same and I don't like it nearly as much. Try to find the yellow labeled MW fleece if you the regular fitting Monkey Woman. If you want a slim fitting jacket that doesn't fit nearly like older MH goods, then this fleece might be for you. At least the fleece is still the same fluffy and soft! December 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome layering fleece I was looking for a zip up fleece that wasn't too thick to allow for easier layering under wind or rain jackets. The Monkey Woman works great for this. The fabric is light, but warm. Can wear on it's own in moderately cool temps. I got the mountain color and love it, b/c it goes with just about anything. Also love the front pocket on this fleece. I'll add that I've worn this almost daily and frequently in the field over the last 2 months. It's been stuffed in packs, treated roughly, and is holding up well so far. November 24, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Super cozy, doesn't block wind This fleece is super soft and super cozy. I love wearing it. I don't recommend it as an outermost layer in cold and windy conditions, as I feel the wind goes right through it. It's great under a windbreaker though. I'm 5'5, 110lb and the fit of this fleece on me is just about right. It's not super fitted and it's not baggy. I wouldn't mind if the arms were just a tad slimmer, but I have super skinny arms. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase because I love how soft and cozy this fleece is! September 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Review from a Carolinian This is my second monkey jacket and I love it. Before this jacket, I bought the monkey jacket they had 3 years ago. The original one is still in perfect condition and still soft as ever, I just wanted another one. I am 5'6" and 130 lbs and the Medium fits perfectly. This one has a longer arm length, which is nice. I will say it is not as warm as the original, but it is perfect for layering. It is not bulky and I don't get too hot when layering. Still as soft as the original, but not as thick as mentioned before. I still love it and wear it as much as possible. July 16, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Didn't Even Keep me Warm in AC I bought this jacket to wear in frigid winters here in Maine. I didn't even get a chance to try it yet before I was working in my Air Conditioned classroom (I'm a teacher) and it was so cold I decided to bring my winter jacket. Well, even when layered over a cardigan, I still found myself shivering in this jacket. I would not recommend this for anyone needing serious warmth. June 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love My Monkey Jacket! I absolutely love this jacket. I bought it online about a month ago and I have basically been wearing it every chance I get... under my snowboarding shell on mild days, around town, to the gym, etc. The fleece has kept me surprisingly warm. A couple people mentioned it might shed in their reviews but I have washed mine a few times already and I have not experienced any shedding. Love it. No complaints here! January 8, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Bring Back the Original A few years ago, I had the Women's Monkey Jacket in the snow color (although I think it was called sand back then, or beige, but you catch my drift that it was not the blinding white color) - truly the warmest jacket I have ever had and I loved it. Sadly, I lost it and when I went to buy another one, the off-white color was discontinued. Finally, this year, I looked online to see this Women's Monkey 200 in the off-white color! Hooray! My excitement then turned into disappointment when I received it and it was HALF the thickness of the original and not nearly as warm. Now I see why it was $10 less than what I paid for my first one, but for the amount of layers you would need to wear underneath it to stay warm, it is not worth $150. Needless to say, I will be returning it and continuing to hold on to hope that the original will make a return in this snow color. November 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by No fuzzy rub off! Bought a similar jacket from a competitor and all the fuzzies ended up all over me.... Not with this jacket! I put it on with black outfits! Fits true to size, however I'm 6ft tall and the arms fit on me, which means it's probably long for average size people. November 17, 2014
