Rated 5 out of 5 by I couldn't be happier I compared micro down jackets online and chose this one initially because it had the longer back length. When the box arrived, it was so light I was sure it was empty. I love this jacket!! It fits perfectly, looks great, and is warmer than any other jacket I own. Thank you for my new favorite coat. Rated 4 out of 5 by it works! I recently bought this jacket for its packability + warmth as I go on a lot of hikes with elevation + temp change. Wanted something I could easily take anywhere without a lot of bulk. This jacket fit a little larger than expected (I got the M) but i managed to pack it into my teeny camelbak and when it got cold, wow did it do the trick. I was actually very impressed by how warm this jacket is compared to it's light weight! March 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great lightweight jacket This is a great all around warm lightweight jacket. We have several now in the family. Sadly weeks after purchasing, the drawstring at the bottom on one of the women's black jackets just snapped and broke! Surprising for MH product but it happened. Will have to figure out how to handle. So far, the other 4 we have are in good shape. One more note is that the black color has a nice soft feel to the material whereas the two tone color (grey with pink) has a bit of a more synthetic feel. But enjoying them all. February 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great jacket I only have positive things to say about this product. It's very lightweight, but keeps me warm on cold and windy northern NY days. It has good tailoring-not boxy like a lot of parkas. The blue color has drawn many compliments. I stuck strictly by the measuring guidelines in deciding what size to order and was rewarded with a perfect fit. January 21, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great fit, but loses too much down I'm a big fan of Mountain Hardwear and have had no problems with the products I have purchased in the past but I'm very disappointed with this jacket. It has a great fit but, loses a lot of its down from the minute you start wearing it. Every time I look down I see feathers poking out all over, especially along stitch lines. January 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by toasty Love the fit and the weight and the color! highly packable, highly functional. January 18, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great warmth, poor craftmenship In the past I have been impressed with Mountain Hardwear and a fan of their products. I bought this jacket to wear 1) as a mid-layer for snowboarding and 2) around town while in Tahoe during the winter. The jacket looks great and offers a lot of warmth without the bulk. However, after my first time wearing it, the little down feathers were already poking out of the fabric and causing me discomfort. I was pretty disappointed. Maybe I just got a lemon. I don't know, seems unreasonable that a near $200 down jacket is already losing its down on the first wear around town. January 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for bike commute I bought this jack for bike commuting and it's perfect. It's lightweight and layers easily. Also, it's small enough to throw in my backpack on day hikes. October 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Black Micro Ratio My wife loves the V pattern of the stitching on the front. The form fitting cut of the garmet is superb. The perfect jacket for Southern California in the fall and winter. Light weight and warm without the bulk. Perfect for travel as it can be both casual and dressy. October 14, 2014
