Women's Kelvinator™ Hooded Jacket is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greta fit, excellent insulation Got this jacket for my birthday, so my boyfriend wouldn't have to deal with me freezing during star gazing when camping anymore. The Kelvinator sure handels that problem. I am 5'6", 140 lbs, atheletic build (broad shoulders), and the medium fits me well, probably a little big with lots of room of layers. I am currently back in Norway visiting my family, and it keeps me warm even here. It's definitely well made, feels and looks expensive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cold at the seams I ordered this jacket in the orange, which is a gorgeous color. I get lots of compliments. It runs a bit large, which makes it great for layering. I'm 5'10, 170 lbs with broad swimmer's shoulders, and the size Large fits me very well. It is roomy enough for the men's Monkey man fleece underneath. The back is longer than most women's jackets, which is a major plus -- no cold backs when you bend over! I have two small complaints. 1) The down fill seems a little low, so the jacket isn't very warm for anything under about 20 degrees Fahrenheit. With a fleece on underneath it I can go out in much colder temps. 2) The jacket is quilted, and the areas at the seams don't have much down and it lets a lot of cold air in. I noticed this especially on my shoulders. Again, in colder temps, it's necessary to do some layering. I live in Alaska and was hoping this would be a good jacket just to throw on over my work clothes in 15-25 degree weather, but it requires a fleece when temps are below 20.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nice weight I am a cold girl and was looking to treat myself to a new down sweater. I first got a lighter version and sent it back, way too thin. I stuck with MH because I wanted a longer fit. I love this jacket. Although it is another 650 fill, it is much more buoyant! The purple is beautiful. It runs large; I am usually a small in MH- I run 34, 26, 34 with shoulders but this small was way too big. the XS fits well and I still have room. it has a cute little shape. To make it perfect I would say next time use a lighter color inside since it tends to show through the seams and to make the hood so you can roll it up. its a bit bulky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits GREAT! I usually order down jackets of the same material from other online stores, but this one has stronger outer material and fits great. Others would be slightly tight and outer material would tear easily. I love this jacket, great fit and awesome quality material! I'm one happy customer! Thank-you Mountain Hardware for this awesome winter jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Warm, Runs big in size I was looking for a down jacket to be worn in below freezing weather. I originally purchased the Nitrous but found that it was not warm enough when temperatures dipped to below freezing. I originally planned on purchasing the small size but it was no longer available in the color I wanted. The x-small turned out to fit perfectly! Therefore I believe the Kelvinator runs a little large. Highly recommend the Kelvinator.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I have several down jackets. I'm impressed at how lightweight this one is. It is puffy, but very lightweight and warm. Fits well, I really like the hood and velcro sleeves. Nice colors too. I'm 5'3" usually a size 4 and I got the M. I have a swimmer's back so I usually get a size bigger than most girls' my size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I love this jacket. It's warm and stylish and I like that it's a little bit longer than most of the other jackets. The only thing I will say is that it might run a little on the big side. I'm sometimes a small and sometimes a medium. I got a small and it is definitely a big small.
