Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Warm and Light I've taken this on a couple of mountain backpacking trips and it's super light and comfortable. Haven't been able to test it in really cold conditions yet, but I expect it to need a windproof layer added when the temps get low or the wind picks up. July 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This jacket can take a beating. I got this jacket last fall, it came on a waterfall climbing and glacier hiking excursion in Iceland in January, snowboarding, ice climbing and it has been through my washing machine twice so far and the fabric and feathers are as good as when I got it. This Jacket is GREAT! I am 5'01 and 115lbs, and the XS fits well everywhere, the only place I would like some more room is in the shoulders, but as long as I don't have too many layers underneath it fits great. Rated 5 out of 5 by Favorite Jacket I bought this jacket at a recommendation from a few friends who had it. It is the lighest, warmest, most comfortable jacket I have ever owned. I wear it as a puffy outerlayer or as a baselayer. I sometimes forget I'm wearing it it's so light. The one thing I would say is that it doesn't do great in wind, but it's not meant to! I take this jacket with me everywhere. Great purchase. February 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome MidLayer This jacket is near perfection. It is exceptionally warm for its purpose, yet it breathes very well. The only down fall is that if you are wearing while the pocket zippers are open, the material snags on the zippers. Overall it is a great jacket and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good compressible mid layer. February 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I'm in love -cozy cozy love This is the best under layer ever. And it's cute and cozy. In the dead of winter I layer it under a MHW shell, and it does the trick. Can't wait until spring when I can wear it on its own. January 27, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Prone to tear - not warm enough This jacket is super cool and cute. So gold star for style and hipness. It's very light which is awesome for backpacking and "layering". I am emphasizing "layering" because this jacket is not warm enough to wear alone! It's VERY THIN. Additionally, this jacket is very filmsy! My dog jumped on my jacket and scratch the jacket which resulted in a big hole. January 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ghost Whisperer=Great jacket, but... I love this jacket, however, it is a bit tighter than should be in the arm/underarm region. I wish the armholes were a tad larger. The jacket fits great otherwise. If I had tried it on in the store before buying, I probably would have passed it up--tight armholes limit what I can wear under it, and add to underarm odor. I am a straight medium in most gear, so ordered medium here as well. The large would have been too loose. I've worn it daily since receiving it--it works well under another down jacket during cold weather. I carried it in a pack while skiing in a wet snow. The outer jacket got slightly damp, but the down kept its loft and the jacket was warm when I put it on. January 21, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Underarms feel suffocated It was interesting because in all the other Mountain Hardwear jackets I had tried on in a size S, they had all fit perfectly. However with the ghost whisperer, it was tight under the arms. I had to go up in size to a Medium. The sleeves ended up being slightly long and it became a looser fit in the waist. The size S would have been a more appropriate size had it not been for the tight fit in the underarms. 5'7, 143 lbs. slender build with broad shoulders. January 19, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Too tight under the arms Too tight under the arms. Very warm and light weight. I hope you change the design to accommodate for more room, but the jacket itself is really nice. January 16, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Super light, but runs big I have a Ghost Whisperer from last year, this year the fit is larger (5'3" #120, athletic build)--ordered a small again, but had to return it because it was too big. This is an ultra lightweight down jacket, a wonderfully warm piece. January 10, 2015
