Trango™ 3 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect T E N T This is the best three person tent on the market. Every little detail of this tent was well thought of. There a numerous built in storage pockets throughout the tent for gear. This tent far exceeding my expectations. The Tango series has been around since the mid 90's for a reason.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tent in cold weather Used this tent on Mt. Shasta and Rainier in 2011, Kahiltna glacier in April 2012 (crevasse rescue class), and Denali in June of 2013. A little heavy but if you split the tent between two of people, no problem. We had three people living in it for three weeks, snug but still enough room for eating, changing clothes etc.. Our boots were in the rear vestibule, and our packs in the front vestibules. Front vestibule was awesome to cook in at 17,000ft camp. Quiet in the wind when guided out properly. The best thing is not worrying about the weather while your are snug in you sleeping bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trango 3: Home away from home This roomy tent is excellent for 2 people to sit out long stretches of bad weather, but is quite comfortable for 3 people. When nailed down well, sustained and gusty winds have very little effect on this sturdy tent. Set-up is very easy to accomplish even in adverse weather. Very portable, but makes a bomber base camp tent too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tent. I love this tent. I own 4 tents and this is becoming my favorite. I is a little on the heavy side, but it is bullet proof. I have used this on a 6 day rafting trip and while others woke up to pitch there fly in the rain, I just zipped the storm flaps on the doors to keep dry. Never had a need to put up the fly in the rain. Guess if I saw the others tents blowing away, I might consider pitching the fly and anchoring in.. The tent is also very taunt when pitched. this keeps the flapping noise down when the wind is blowing. I use this mainly as a very comfortable two person with gear. I put two 30" wide landing pads in it and there is ample room for two. If you are planning to sleep three you will be slightly snug but will work with backpacking mattresses. I did break a pole and told the MH rep that it was totally my fault. She told me that it did not matter. send it in and they would replace it.. One week later, it was at my door. No charge for my stupidity. Great customer service and Great Product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trango 3 This is an awesome, robust tent (like most of Mountain Hard Wares). It is best used as a base camp tent, as it is a little on the heavy side. This said, it is very robust.
